Mostly I give mine boring names similar to those in the game. Ancient Nord sword of burning and such. I've been thinking about to name them "in character".... Like, what would this character call that sword... But meh.

It's a nice feature that you can name them though. You can name weapons but not horses

LOL! I go out of my way to name my weapons as ridiculously as I can. Here are some examples:

A Daedric dagger with Fire enchant: Stake and Bake

A hunting bow with Soul trap: If I can't have you...

A necklace with Pickpocket enchant: Five Finger Discount

A ring with Lockpick enchant: What Is Yours Is Mine

Leather Armor with Stamina speed increase: Huff with No Puff

A ring with Archery enchant: Bowconstrictor

An Ebony bow with Shock enchant: Mr. Tingly, Lightning On A Stick, Toaster Not Included, Tesla Coil of Foil

LOL! Some of the names I've come up with over the years have been stupidly fun.

Haha, the pickpocket ring is awesome. Everyone has a 5-finger discount, they just might not know it yet

I'm not too creative with mine. When it comes to weapons, mostly higher tier weapons, I usually name them after weapons from other games or stories, like the Excalibur, for example.

Oh you also have to have at least one "BADAZZ VIKING RING" In your inventory.

I really ought to level up enchantment just so I can enchant my stuff and give them hilarious names.

Yes. Right before you enchant it, the option to name your item comes up. Press Triangle.

I like to name my gear after the owners of the souls that I used to enchant it.

As a result, I have too many things with names such as:

• Vampire Nightstalker
• Nightlord Vampire
• Vampire Scout
• Ancient Vampire
• Vampire Mistwalker
• Vampire Fledging
• Vampire Nightlord
• Volkihar Master Vampire
• Vampire

Et Cetera . . .

I currently carry a Woodcutters Axe called 'Death to all Woodpeckers' and a Pickaxe called 'Pickaxe of unlikely Undead Feariness'.

I ran out of Lore friendly names for weapons in 2012...

Very good! LOL! I'm going to start naming gear like this (as it happens, I'm currently playing a PC who enchants).

But I realized it's too much trouble to switch gear constantly. I try to limit things to just a few essential items.

I've heard there are mods for the PC which help better organize gear but I'm on the Xbox so I'm stuck with the old-style.

It's hard not to take Skyrim seriously Sir.

Especially when I hear Jeremy Soule banging out 'Steel on steel'and there's some trash-talking halfwit after me innards..

A flipping attack signal. Like when Whitney used to murder 'I will always love you' with that foghorn emission.
