I dislike the fact that you cannot build the rooms that you want to build at the very beginning. I would like to be able to build Two power generators together, as well as two water supply rooms together--along with two Diners side by side: and, so on. The arrow placements won't allow it. Just saying.

i want a full room instead of an elevator right next to the vault entrance.

its hard but i managed to build it. you can no longer do that once you are at end game.

It seems to me that you have to spend a lot of real money to get to the end game the way you want to. I have played enough Fallout to know how to build a successful and safe vault. But I refuse to spend real money doing so. But that is just me.

After a few levels and caps it isn't to hard to rearrange rooms. Main issue I had was running out power when expanding. But I have the elevators and rooms to zig zag. So attackers run through gauntlet instead of any room. I put barracks first because no resource there, the diner, should put water next, but have power.

After wasting $7 in real cash I have decided this game isn't for me. If I cannot do what I want it is a waste of my time and money. Thanks everyone for your comments.
