I know we can build housing and settlements, but can we buy already built houses in FO4?

I would really appreciate confirmation on this.

I haven't seen any so far, it looks like you can just build them. I'm only a few hours into the main quest though, someone else might have more insight.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe there are player houses to unlock. In Diamond City I've seen a locked house that requires a key, and is called "Home Base". So, a baseball pun AND a player house, most likely. Not sure how to unlock it yet. (And don't want to know. No spoilers.)

It is a house.It has a workshop inside,but you can only build objects from the furniture and decoration material and some more stuff.

You can't place workbenches.
