Hey guys,

I have been watching a few Youtube videos about the best weapons that I can find in Commonwealth and I got really interested about the Last Minute Gauss Rifle.

The problem is that anytime I try to initiate a conversation with Ronnie Shaw my character just says he wants to trade a few things. I've already tried a few possible solutions that I've found on Google like:


- Leaving the area and coming back later

- Waiting for the daylight hours


Do you have any thoughts about it? I hope Bethesda patches it soon.


PS: Sorry if already there is a topic for this question, but I couldn't find it without a search panel. Shame on you Bethesda.

I think both a Gauss rifle and laser rifle give your position away as does a missile launcher. For stealth go with a suppressed .50 cal recon rifle like Reba 2. Quietly eliminate everyone from cover and distance before they even know you are there.

Did you fully complete the "Old Guns" quest? According to the wiki, you have to wait until after that to get it from her.

If I recall correctly in order to save Conoly in the silver shroud quest I think you have to stealthily snipe you way thru the building. On a couple run thrus I think I tried to use both a Gauss and laser and he was dead before I got to the second elevator.
