As usual. I try to help a seemingly innocent person (was just eating dead, not hurting anyone) but then it turns out to be involved into a much nastier evil appeal where they want me to become one myself, and once again as usual, i cant say a flat out "No." and it gives me a quest which im stuck with now(Im sure you know, most gamers feel the need to complete quests on their journal). I dont wanna kill the priest. Can I kill Eola instead and therefore cancel the quest?

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question, but yes you can kill her. If the priest is still alive, he will even reward you

You could still do the quest, the only way to cannibalise after it is by wearing namira's ring. If your after all the daedric artifacts you could just roleplay that you got possessed by Namira or her will forced you to do it. You can also just pretend it never happened, or finally if your on pc just use the setstage command to skip the cannibalism bit.

Otherwise just kill Eola and if you still want the ring coc qasmoke

and if you kill her, be warned that you probably will also kill other members of her group which means you lose some of the npc's that normally wander markarth.

I did the quest and after I got the ring I took Eola as a follower and took her pass the door that closes and asked her to wait. Closed that door and went and killed all the guest lol. Saving eola for the Ebony blade or some other evil thing lol.

Just to clarify a little for someone just starting the quest without completely ruining it. You can kill her as soon as you meet her with no consequence though you don't get the artifact. You can kill her further into the quest but you will also kill a good portion of Markath's citizenry, including some merchants.

Damn, I slashed her in half after she told me she was a cannibal, right there in the cemetery...

Please do spoil me... i found the quest but stopped half way, who are the other cannibals? I mean people are saying that if i choose to kill her when i need to save the priest more people from the city will be gone? Who are the other cannibals then? o.O

Ring of Namira iirc. Gives you some stamina boost and lets you feed on corpses for boosted health and health regeneration for a while.

Banning. he sells you a dog outside Markarth, Hagni-red arm. he sells meat in Markarth. and that chick who runs Arleif and sons trading company in Markarth. and some others that aren't related to anything and are just cannibals i think.

Killed them all, and never returning to Markarth again (on this character ). Corruption, cannibalism, civil war... I say let the skeevers have that hole.

I decided to go through with the quest and then use Eola for Boethiah's questline, two daedric artifacts plus sweet revenge!
