I wasn't expecting any kind of "magic button" (read: Shrine) to immediately clear me up, like the "Confessions" book suggests. But I've even tried leaving, waiting days, and coming back. All the NPC's... say the same thing and with a forced "goodbye".

Thankfully I'm counteracting the effects with efficient use of "Almalexia's Light" and a trip to an imperial cult shrine from time to time, but I'd like to get rid of this debuff.

Skooma Anonymous isn't necessary to kick the habit. All you have to do is go two weeks (iirc) without taking any skooma.
