I know that daedric princes can be banished back to oblivion but what happens if they die in oblivion are they gone or do they come back to life in a different place in oblivion or is it just impossible for them to die in oblivion because they're so powerful?

Sheogorath was turned into the one thing he hates and that's mortals. So technially a deadric prince can die.

that's assuming the SI PC is the new Sheo, huh? but even so, i don't think Sheo actually died... you can't really kill Madness, so who or whatever the physical manifestation or form of Sheo was there, its "dead" but Sheo as Prince lives... in a new, hm, physical manifestation, form; the SI PC. hm, just my opinion.

Madness is subjective. Remember Catch-22?

Going from what Haresus, one could technically defeat the concept of madness if that person found a way to make everyone insane. This hits a speed bump, though, when insane people starting seeing other insane people as mad.

No, the one thing he hates is predictable order. In other words, Jyggy. Sheogorath, with his insane mind, hatched a plan to perform one the most unthinkable of things, use a mortal to become him. Mortals have the gift of freedom, thanks to Shor's divine mercy, and Sheo needed that kind of freedom to break the predictable cycle once and for all.

The old Sheogorath is dead, but the new Sheogorath has always been. Sheogorath is dead, long live Sheogorath!

I'm starting to like the idea that Sheo was always a mortal, and every Greymarch a new mortal took his place. However, due to all that jib-jab, the new mortal Sheo changes everything so he always was Sheo. It would explain why Sheo was only invented along with mortals; the other gods wanted to punish Jyggy, so they bound him with a mortal, the first Sheo. Not sure how canon it is, but it's a fancy idea ;)

From what I saw, if he was bound to anything, it was the Tree of Madness. The same thing that the new Sheogorath was bound to.
