The development team will not respond on these forums however your best chance is GStaff responding. However, due to the fact that I dont believe they have released this information as of yet, a response seems unlikely. You may try to Pm GStaff directly.

I think you can disable the gameworx effects in game, at least i think you could in other games that uses it.

I'm gonna advise, wait until Black Friday or Digital Monday. Even new stuff has anywhere from $50 to $100 knocked off.

from what im aware, fallout 4 will have both gameworks and the AMD equivalent. i should also note that with 8 days to go, we havent had the usual gameworks trailer that comes out showing all the goodies the game would normally have as well like we did with Batman, Dying Light, Assassins creed, Witcher 3 etc

A very silly thing to worry about to be honest. All games that support Physx and whatever the AMD equivalent is will have a toggle assuming they're even in the game.

Someone may have more on that. As I dont think Physx is in the game, am i wrong? I'd be surprised if in they'd not allow an off toggle.

Primary target market for Fallout 4 is consoles - XBox One and PS4. We are just lucky they do a really good PC version.

Both of those use AMD GPUs.

Do you really think Bethesda is going to damage their performance on consoles with Gameworks?

Performance will be fine with either architecture.

You can disable Nvidia's GameWorks libraries if they cause FPS drops on your PC.

HairWorks can be disabled, so can WaveWorks and destruction, etc.

Get an Nvidia Card, better product.

You can either get another card to SLI or buy a cheaper Nvidia card to use as a dedicated PhysX handler.

Cant do that really with AMD.

Dedicated PhysX card allows for a much higher FPS than most want to believe anyways, probably cause they haven't tried.

Can't you turn GameWorks stuff off?

I know you can turn HairWorks off and you can also turn WaveWorks off. You can also turn destruction off as well.
