Can't edit Dr. Li's Glasses

Post » Thu Sep 17, 2009 11:49 am

This has been bugging me no matter what I do, every time I clone Dr. Li's glasses in Geck, they are always on the side of my character's face in game. The original Dr. Li's glasses are where they should be in game, but as soon as I change the ID to something else in the GECK, they are worn on the side of the face. I don't understand it. I'm not changing anything else in GECK except for the ID., and have no idea on why this is happening. Anyone know how I can fix this?

Isnt doctor Li in Fo3? Not NV? In which case you need to go to the Fo3 forums http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/forum/46-the-geck/. Reguardless, this is fixed by clicking one of the toolbar buttons on the top (I think character, its near the right side of the 8 or 9 options) then clicking Update Facegen Availability. That should set it properly on your characters head from then on.

She is a character in FO3, however her glasses, like many other things from FO3, remain in F:NV

Try FNVEdit's "Copy as new record into..." then rename it? Your current copy probably has no flags ticked for "Face Gen Model". Alternatively, try the GECK's Edit > Update FaceGen Model Availability, but the GECK might edit things you don't intend to have in your plugin, so eyeballing the result with FNVEdit afterward would be in order.
