Can I Enchant Cloth Boots with magic regen?

im a full mage and looking for good robes and ways to only wear robes and still beast
no light armor and no heavy armor

and i keep trying to enchant some black boots of cloth and it wont let me?

Certain enchantments can only be put on certain armor types. Regen Magicka, I believe, can only be placed onto Rings, Amulets, Headgear and Gloves.

Boots are very limited with enchants. For my mage I put frost and shock resist (because I already have the dunmer fire resist). Not much else you can do. Same for gloves. I did +70 magicka and +14 unarmed damage lol

Which is kinda dumb. The master level enchantment perk should allow any enchantment on any item. Move the double enchantment to lv75 or 80 enchanting.

I made Boots of Muffle tonight and they work great. Lydia's still making noise following me but I don't make a sound.
