I have the Torc of Labyrinthian, but the door still says that I lack the required items. Is there a way to use the console to force the door to unlock?

are you talking about the metal bar doors?

I'm talking about the main entrance to Labyrinthian, the ones that require the Torc of Labyrinthian in order to open.

I'd like to add that I suspect the reason the doors wont open is because I never got the quest 'The Staff of Magnus' due to a bug that broke the Mages Guild questline. I did however recieve the quest items.

That is most likely the issue. Depending on the issue, you may be able to fix the bug by using console commands. Please specify the bug that you think broke the quest line.

setstage MG07 10

to start the "Enter Labyrinthian" part of the quest?

Setstage MG07 10 never worked. I tried the setstage command using all the different stages of the MG07 quest, but none of them did anything. I used setstage to start the following quest, which transported me to the causeway outside the college, staff in hand with tolfdir following.

Regarding the bug that broke the questline; upon reporting to mirabelle after defeating the magic anomalies during the quest 'containment', the quest completed, rewarding me with Savos Aren's Amulet and the Torc. I never got the next quest for some reason I cannot fathom, and somehow every character in the college had their dialogue and behaviour reset. Ancano just started walking inside the 'vortex' as if nothing was happening, and mirabelle talked to me as if I'd just met her. Starting the next quest (Eye of Magnus, MG08) fixed this however, but it caused some other, more minor bugs that I managed to fix somewhat using the console.

But please, dont focus on the issue with the mages guild questline, I just want to find a way to enter the labyrinthian.

Have you tried StartQuest MG07?

To open the door, you could try to open the console, click the door and type unlock? If that did not work, you could try coc Labyrinthian01. Should transport you inside.

well i just (last night did the staff and Labyrinthian quests) and didnt get a problem... odd ending though :/
