I have been inside New Vegas quite a few times. Got lots of companions and gear stowed in the Lucky 38. At some point, I am not sure when, New Vegas locked me out again. I cannot interact with any of the Securitrons outside the gate. I originally got in by using Science to scramble their little robots minds. That was fun.

Since then, I've tried using Ralph's contraband passport and even trying to pick pocket a key off of a Securitron. None of those options work. The gate remains closed. The only option I've found is to kill the Securitrons and take the key off of a wrecked corpse. Gratifying in a way, but it ruins my reputation with the Strip. Not only do Securitrons start attacking me, but so do some NCR people on the Strip! And those last guys Idolize me!

Has anyone found a way, or is there a mod out that can help me with this situation?

The bug of all posted bugs.....other than the black screen/not loading screen when going into the strip thru the north gate.

Use the monorail from McCarren.....or reload previous to whatever quest you just finished. That dont work...then wait in line for the patch like the rest of us, or do like I did and give up 30 + hours of game play to go far enough back in your saves so that this does not occur again. I found that not going into the strip until I had the passport, then going straight to the 38 and talking to house solved it for me.

as a side note....dont save ANYTHING in the 38.....use the hotel room at novac for a centrally located "extra Stuff you dont wanna carry or sell" dump.
