Can we expect some for of anti cheat software or votekick?

Post » Sat Nov 06, 2010 7:24 am

Hacking is starting to become more frequent in this game (mainly aimbot retards) and I was wondering if Crytek had any plans to put in some sort of anti cheat system or even a votekick system to get rid of these idiots?

I'm agree, please Crytek dont repeat Crysis' mistakes. Crysis 2 needs a good anti-cheat program.

Yeah this is really crazy, within a week after release the game is unplayable in Multiplayer. If they don′t do fast anything against it Crysis 2 on PC is dead..

Stop overreacting, its not unplayable. Theres tons of servers and i see 1-5 hackers a day max. When I see them I just point it out and leave.

However yes, some cheat protection would be nice.

of course it is unplayable, there is absolutely nothing you can do at the moment against this cheating bastards. And the **** cheater know it, they even dare and just turn speedhack or shoot at you while they are invisible. This are the people who are doing it obvious but you can be sure there are many many more that just hide it a little bit..

Forget it nobody with a working brain would keep playing this game if they not fix this ****. Can′t just belive there are morons trying to tell me it′s not soo bad. What the hell is wrong with you guys..

I was in a game with a guy running around with a machine gun, he jumped into the air on Skyline and killed 4 of us before he hit the ground.

Then I was in a game with two hackers on instant action. They had 25 and 23 kills, the next highest guy had 6 kills.

It seems like just about every server I join either has or hacker or gets a hacker within half an hour.

It IS getting unplayable and even when it is playable it's not fun when someone turns a corner and headshots you, or jumps over a wall and kills you instantly.

The fact that they didn't put any sort of anti cheat in when there's plenty that already exist is just ridiculous. Of course, knowing EA they're just going to blame all the hacking on the game being pirated. That's a BS response imo, if anything the game being pirated should have been even MORE of a reason for them to make sure they had a solid anticheat mechanism in place.

Pirating isn't killing PC gaming, lazy, careless developers are. If they put half as much time into an anti cheat system as they have biching about how piracy is killing them this wouldn't happen. I've personally told a bunch of friends not to buy the game because the multiplayer is utter **** until they do something about the cheaters. At this rate, however, by the time they get around to it people will have given up.

Get your act together and do something about the cheating even if it is a **** thrown together vote kick option.

You can leave the server and find a new one. People like you probably stay in game though raging until the game ends with you being 3-15 and then you come here and rage some more. If you encounter a hacker just leave the game and find a new one.

Why should I have to leave? I'm the one playing the game legitimately. A game I paid for with the expectation that the developers would do their job to prevent cheating. If they said upfront that they wouldn't have anti-cheat measures and they'll add some in the future at some point I wouldn't have bought the game.

They are the ones cheating playing the game breaking the rules. They shouldn't even be in the game to force me to change servers.

Not having anti cheat in a multiplayer game is just poor planning. I for one am giving them until the end of the week. After that, I'm getting the hacks myself and I don't plan on purchasing any more of their games in the future. They clearly don't care about PC gamers, why should I care about them?

Right, and the sad thing about that is crytek did a really decent job with the multiplayer of Crysis 2. It is really a great game and with every minute it got for me even better untill I reached level 20. And now there is no point playing every server you join, a hacker is already there or will join in the next minutes. Even if there are not people who use the cheats so obvious like some do when you know that there is absolutely no anticheat in the game you can always be sure some of the guys playing with or against you cheat..

Really sad the Crysis 2 mp could have gotten really big..

@Hedgehog8

Yeah I will leave the server to join another server where are also cheater, that is really a great idea of you. And I really don′t care about stats when the game is full of cheater..

You really must be braindead to not get that the game will die really fast if it stays like it is right now. In the last games I had on every server there was someone telling us how great it is to play with his cracked version and using cheats. And we couldn′t even votebann the **** cheater. How **** ridiculous is that??

love to hear that. ;)

Hope it did work, what ever you have done. But you should have banned the cd keys and accounts of the cheaters already and not just reset their stats.
