I don't necessarily think that everyone should be ripped, but I really don't think a character could do what you'll be doing and remain fat for very long. What with all the travel, running, combat, etc.

what if you just ride on the fat ponies and walk, and just use spells?

Allowing for different body-types especially for npcs would make the world feel much more immersive. As long as the customization process is tastefully-done I am fine with as many options as they can give us!

I want the option to create a fat character as well, the option or ability to become fat was one of the FEW things I actually enjoyed in Fable. Fat people need love too!

I hope they never offer this in any game. I can see why it would add realism to the game, but the truth is fat people are disgusting and a massive burden on their societies. (no pun intended.)

I'd like that. I won't make a fat character anyway, but as it was pointed out, knowing that I could do that is awesome. Besides, it'll help in the variety of fanmade npc characters.

Also, please stop with the ignorance of "horses in Skyrim are fat".... those are nordic horses, so it's the same thing as saying "levriers are so anorexic". No they aren't, it's the race that looks like that.

Am I the only one imagining a Saints Row fat character rolling down the side of Skyrim's mountains because he slipped on a small spot of ice?

Since they have said that they have confirmed different body-types it isn't unlikely.

Fat old wizard FTW. That would be the most fun character to play ever.
Speaking of which, I hope the age slider is a little more effective this time around. If I set it to the top, I wanna be wrinkly and hunched. If I set it to the bottom, I wanna be Link in Twilight Princess.
