Can't find any game other than Team Instant Action.

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 7:03 am

Nothing. I try Crash Site, sit in the lobby for 10 minutes, nothing. Go into other game types, nothing. I even tried Instant Action (I hate free for all) and nothing.

Anyone else having this?

EVERYONE TAKE NOTE -

MATCH MAKING REQUIRES PLAYERS IN ORDER TO ACTUALLY JOIN YOU TO A GAME.

Just in case you didn't know.

I try during what you would think would be peak hours of the day and nothing. I played Crash Site a few weeks ago, no problem finding a game, and now nothing.

You can't be telling me that Crash Site has NOBODY playing it.

It should be pointed out that Xbox live has been acting all wonky the last week or so. Marketplace was down several times or had errors like wanting points for demo's (pay for a demo? LOL ). On top of that some matchmaking features in games simply have not worked at all, an example would the Texas Heat Poker arcade game that the online tournaments did not work for at all in the last week. So its not all due to lack of players or even the game itself.

The MS update has bricked a lot consoles. There have been many issues with the update. I am hoping it does not turn into an PSN problem.

MS always get complaints for "bricked" consoles every time they update, mainly due to stupidity on the part of the console owner. And lets not forget a large amount of those "reports" are from chipped/modded/hacked consoles getting kicked off the network or dying due to deliberate software incompatabilites that MS program in to deter console interference.

But a dashboard update would go some way to explain the issues that have been apparent in the recent week or so. It sounds like a very plausible reason for the errors to me.

I played today, no probs getting into crash site quickly, but the usual crippling/frustrating bugs remain. Not had any problems with LIVE function ever except when they are doing maintenance and even then they do that pretty quick. As for Dashboard updates never had an issue except they still haven't enabled Kinect Speech in Australia and NZ as promised.

This from one of Crysis 2's biggest critics.

This.

Try playing early morning in the UK and you will find no players on any game type no matter how long you wait. Coupled with the aggravating lobby system people don't have the patience to endure so they too leave.

Not really a problem, since you should be sleeping at 4am in the morning to be honest.

I have had a console bricked by a MS update. It was a month-old Slimline model. So don't say it doesn't happen, because it most certainly does.
