So I'm doing the quest Blood of the daedra and I'm supposed to read the Modern heretics book. Problem is I can't find a copy of the book. The marker points around Martin at the cloud ruler temple but the book isn't there. I checked the First edition store, didn't have it.

Is this some sort of bug that's fixable? Can I get the book at another location?

I think it is supposed to be in the Great Hall at Cloud Ruler Temple. If you you have access to the Arcane University, there should be a copy there. If all else fails, you could use console commands (provided you're playing on pc).

My recollection is that reading the book isn't a requirement, and you can just get on with the rest of the quest. It just helps by updating your map, but the places can be found without it.
