I haven't killed him, and nobody else did. (i can't find his coffin in the hall of the dead so he should be alive)
I looked in his home, in the tavern, in the market...he just dissapeared.
Same thing for one of the argonians at the dock.

Maybe i should stay away from windhelm for a while and come back later.
