Can't find my wife ysolda!

Post » Sat Feb 22, 2014 4:54 am

I went back to falkreat manor after some hearty adventuring, and I can't find ysolda at all! I had recently adopted the child from whiterun who NEVER appeared again (ingrate).

I need a bug fix or even a console command to reset/teleport me to her/revive her.

go to whiterun. search Breezehome (if you have it) then search her home, the streets, the bannered mare and Belethor's shop.

when you married her did you tell her to meet you at her place or yours? She could still be roaming Whiterun, living in her house and your kids are in limbo until she moves in? Or your home is not adequate for children ie: no storage chests in their bedroom?

you didn't happen to return home and kill some bandits did you? Hearthfire introduces spouse kidnapping. Maybe Ysolda was kidnapped.

They leave a note if that happens right? I thought about that but I couldn't find a note.

Ah see, I did ask earlier if your home was adiquite for children, as in storage chests in the children's room. Its not possible for your children to be in one home and your wife in another. It seems the game auto moved your wife. But its good you found her :D Had you married Camilla I would have suggested looking in Riverwood... perhaps in the company of a bosmer or nord.
