I have listened to the holotape 5 times and it will not trigger the password that is needed to enter the bunker up north to complete the mission. Has anyone else had this problem? I have watched the youtube videos of people beating it also and have followed them exactly. For some reason when I listen to his holotape it does not respond like it does in the videos. Can someone please help me resolve this issue.

Want to know what is even worse...? When you beat the quest but can't turn it in because Danse gives you generic lines.

I thought it was going to be stuck in my quest inventory forever but you know what? It's somehow tied to Danse being available as your follower. After you destroy the BoS it got removed.

I take it you got the holotape from the satellite array where the super mutants are? i've never had a issue completing this quest prior to killing kellogg and progressing in the main quest line. maybe its tied to that?

There are 3 tapes and you need them in order. You need to loot the guy in the power armour frame last. I went to the girl in the armory, the guy at the supermutant convention and then the guy in the power armour frame. Any other order and it won't complete.

I actually did it successfully in a different order. Power Armor, National Guard Training Post, and Revere Satellite Array worked for me.

Same for me, I did this order as well and it worked.

where is the guy in the power armor? third tape?

I have the same issue and that the last tape (satellite array location) doesn't have the password.

I did the quest without ever contacting Dansey boy and the Bros. Also doesn't the quest giver/ender change when they Prydwen arrives? It's Kels or Ingram I think.

I did it for the second time today and got the holotape from the satellite array last. Mission worked fine.

I know where the final location is, the bunker at the top of the map. but without the password I couldn't get in.

Apologies - Trying to sidestep a spoiler here, but I got an immediately hostile welcome once I opened up the bunker. Reloaded several times and it was always an instant fight. I was always wearing PA.

Then I tried exiting my powerarmor and then opening the door. No issues- story played out fine.

Don't have a clue why PA sets him off?

I actually had Danse with me, when I located the last patrol/signal emitter. It was the guys with the molten power armor. He actually commented on the scene and acted like he was investigating it. Then we both went to the bunker. Got some brownie points with Danse, too for doing that quest. I also think that I had to turn it into Kells at the Prydwen.
