Hi!

I'm having problems with this side mission, the silver shroud. When I started the mission I already had talked with Hancock and now the mission is to present myself with him as the Silver Shroud but he don′t have any dialogue to complete the mission, he just want to be my companion.

I can′t neither transfer the items to a box.

Any ideas?

I think I had to dismiss Piper and take him as a companion to initiate the dialog.

Dismissed him right after getting the quest.

Wear the Silver Shroud costume and "speak as the Shroud" if that's an option (been a while since I did it last) you should get the dialogue then.

Edit: As walt_r says there is an occasional glitch with

Try accepting him as a companion and then talking to him as the shroud.

I had the same problem as the OP. He would not talk to me with the dialog. I had to dismiss MacCready, take Hancock as a follower. Then as you suggested, initiate dialog with him and he spoke with the quest dialog.

I had to do this again at the end of the Silver Shroud quest also when talking to Hancock and Kent.
