Skyrim was my first Elder Scrolls, I love it. I have heard people say Oblivion is better so I bought it but it just doesn't compete with Skyrim. Skyrim has better graphics, obviously, better inventory, better map, better voice acting, better movement, better ai, better animations.
I really want to get into the story but all these things are massive turnoffs.

I'll have a look at graphics mods and maybe there is a complete overall to make it more like skyrim.

Then why don't you go back to playing Skyrim then?

Seriously Oblivion is not Skyrim, if you go into Oblivion expecting Skyrim you will disappointed.
It's a very different game.
