I didn't check to see if anybody mentioned this pre-release, but I think it would go a long way towards extending the life of the game if Splash Damage were to release free level editing software for the masses. I realize it probably isn't going to happen, and in the game's current state there are more pressing matters at hand, but I don't think I'm the only one who would appreciate being able to create our own maps.

Any games life would be extended with a map editor. Doesn't mean it will happen. Especially in this case like you said.

They said the were thinking about it, but the only downside to this is that it would make the game easier to hack/

When did they say that? And no offense, but I don't understand how having a map editor would make the game easier to hack....
