can't get it out of my head

Post » Mon Jun 29, 2009 12:21 pm

anyone else completely hung up on this game world since this game was released? it's even gotten me into the old Fallouts (and i'm really not a fan of isometric point-and-click games) i just can't get enough. recently i realized that i've actually put more time into this game than oblivion (thats kind of disturbing) but it doesn't even feel like it, i've played through this game 3 times now (on the 4th) and im still coming across [censored] i hadn't seen the other times and finding things which cause me to go read about them at the vault. really engaging stuff!

Fallout is just that good, it is one of the best cult-classic video game series out there, one of the best RPG series as well.

Oblivion got me first and now I've been playing FNV since October. I'm coming to the endgame on my third FNV game and have 2 others in progress that I'll finish later. I have a FO3 game in progress and a Morrowind to play before Skyrim is released. Open world all the way for me. I love the freedom of them. The writing on FNV has me hooked. There are these other games to play too if you like this type of game. :)

I got hooked on Fallout 3 and I thought it was the best game ever. Well, I still think it's the best game ever, but anyways. Yeah so I wondered, what were the first two like? So I went out and bought them. I was dissapointed at first, but then I started to really adapt to do one thing at a time, instead of walking and gunning. I'm a big fan of RPGs, so I got used to it.

I have a story not unlike that, I played the originals when i was like ten, and i loved them but, as a ten year old, didnt remember the names, when i was 14 i got Oblivion and Fallout 3, I liked them, but seeing Fallout 3, i came here, and then you got people here describing the originals and i thought "Oh! I've played those before!! I loved those!" and since i had been playing Fallout 3 and Fallout: Tactics, NV came out and i played that for hundreds of hours, and now i am playing Fallout again, fun fun. I am 16 btw.

I'm pretty sure I saw an ad for Fallout when I was younger, around 7 or 8 years, so my story not too different from yours.

Fallout 3 was the game that svcked me into the Fallout world, and NV provided a whole new and exciting area of the Fallout world to explore. I know the feeling, OP.

Fallout 2 got me into Fallout. I was a little late to the party (first played it in 2002), but nonetheless I thought Fallout 2 was one of the most incredible games I had ever played. Heck, I still think it's one of the most incredible games I've ever played.

I remember when Fallout 3 came out and some of my friends introduced me to it. It was just so... different... I slowly fell in love with it.

Fallout 3 was my first fallout game, then New Vegas. I 'd read so much about the different factions I decided to give Fallout 2 a try, it took some getting used to but it's great I'm about halfway through. It's like playing history, things and people I've read about I"m seeing in a game.

Fallout 3 and NV actually sparked in me a deep love for 40s and 50s Rat Pack-era music; I listen to that stuff nonstop now. :D

I started with Morrowind. It was cool to fast travel on a giant bug! Then to Oblivion, loved shooting fire from my fingertips! Then Fallout 3, the best was seeing places in Washington I'll probably never see in real life! I so miss my pal Fawkes. And now New Vegas.

I started with Morrowind too. Played it until well after Oblivion was out, then started playing OB. I got FO3 and was blown away. I like New Vegas better, though.
