I can't get past the loading screen.

So after having played this game for about 50 hours now, I've suddenly come into an issue where as soon as I hit play on the launcher, I reach the "please standby" screen and then 3 seconds later the game just closes and sends me back to my desktop with no error messages.

I have tried the "remove loading screen" method, but I just get stuck at the next menu for 3 seconds before it closes off. I have also tried to reinstall the game (which i was certain would fix any game...) but its done nothing.

Whats confusing is that I've been playing it with absolutely no problems what so ever and now suddenly this.

Now the only thing I can think of that could've caused it is mods. I downloaded the craft able ammo mod and extra objects in the settlement. Both of them worked fine. But before the game started crashing, I'd downloaded the mod manager from nexus. Now I don't know if this mod manager has possibly broken my game, but before I experienced the Fallout crash, I tried to open the mod manager. I had an error message pop up and I then had to use task manager to close mod manager. It was after that when I tried to open Fallout, causing the crash.

Now i'm not blaming mod manager, but does anyone know if this program could have possibly changed a file somewhere on my computer, causing the crash? Its the only thing I can think of but i'm not sure where to start.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks :D

Oh and if this is of any help, my computers running:

Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 760

Processor: Intel core i7 4770

8GB RAM

I've got craftable ammo and settlement supplies expanded

Ive deleted the files since then (along with the mod manager) in hopes it would fix it. But im unsure if it would have left some files behind somewhere that I need to get rid of.

It is because your game relies on the mods used when you saved I'm guessing. Happened in Skyrim.

If you're using the Beta that doesn't support mods I'm told.

Are you able to start a new game, to see if that works?

I can't even get past the loading screen to select a new game, I've also removed the save files from my fallout 4 saves folder which didn't fix it either. Its pretty strange.

Try this: C:\..........\Documents\My Games\Fallout4

Delete fallout4.ini and fallout4prefs.ini (the game will remake them).

ALso here: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Fallout4

Delete all the files there.

Ah OK that early. Well if its the game not an external influence definitely remove all INI files also try verify cache. Also go for driver reinstall, and maybe look at your error log to see why it crashed if its gone in there.
