I just got the latest version of the PS3 and game data yesterday (Dec 27) and the game will not progress past the title screen after I select yes to starting a new game. The music continues to play and the fog rolls, but the game doesn't start. I've been told that it sometimes works to turn the PS3 off and on again, but this isn't working in this case.

If you have DLC, you'll have to download and install them again.

Delete your skyrim game, and install it again. If you have any saves (probably not) delete them too.

After you get the game working, then you can install the DLC's as well. !!!!!
