I wan't to marry Roggi Knot Beard but am unable to get the quest that opens him as a follower and a marriage candidate, has anyone else experience this issue or knows how to get the quest to retrieve his ancestral shield?

As far as I'm aware it is a dungeon delving radiant quest, having another quest would mean you're unable to obtain his but I've checked and I don't have one.
