I've tried all of the variations of Slof's saddlebags with and without the slof's horse base mod. I've checked, rechecked and triple checked all the mesh and texture paths and files. I've tried buying a new horse thinking the saddlebags only show up when you buy the horse. No joy. I don't know what else to try or where to look.

Thanks in advance for any light someone can shed on what's happening or where to look for answers.

I've never tried Slof's, but I've got http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/33110 in a couple of my games. Worked for me.
