Can't get the perfect bouquet for eyja

I was able to play through one other time with no problem. But now during my second play through I go to by the flower for eyja and I don't see them in the shops inventory and can't advance the quest. I've done a little bit of searching and see other people have had this problem but I haven't found any answers to the problem. I tried doing removing the mod and doing a clean save and reinstalling the mod and still get the same problem. Anybody know how to advance the quest so I can get past this part?

Are you using Enhanced Economy?

If so, it may be the cause. I have meant to check this out, but never got so far in Eyja's romance. The problem (IIRC) is that for some unknown reason, the bouquet is supposed to be sold by a merchant who isn't supposed to sell that type of items. Eyja does something to allow that merchant to sell it anyway, but Enhanced Economy's Local Economy feature does (of course) not know about that, and will probably set the bouquet's price to 0, which means that it is unsellable and not pop up in the inventory.

If I am right, setting tnoEE.useMerchantPrices to 0 should make it work. You can even try this out by just before you activate the merchant, open your console and type "set tnoEE.useMerchantPrices to 0" - and if it works open up the console and type "set tnoEE.useMerchantPrices to 1" to restore it (will be restored on next savegame load anyway).

I don't have any economy mods active since I didn't like how merchants would lose money as I sold them items. I'm using FCOM which has LE included as an option in one of the mods but I chose to not use it.

I'll try your suggestion to see if it works.

OK, then EE is not the cause. But I still think the cause is related to what I said:
Eyja gives the bouquet to a merchant that can not normally sell that kind of items and changes the merchant to sell that kind of item. If any other later-loading mod in your LO does anything with that same merchant, chances are thet Eyja's change to what the merchant will sell gets lost due to the rule of one. So the merchant probably has the bouqut, but is not interested in selling it.

When I first saw it, I found it a poor choice to give the bouquet to that merchant and not one that can naturally sell that kind of items, so I guess that's the root of the problem - something which could easily avoided by letting one of the other Bruma merchants be the seller...

And Niceone or anybody else I know there is a console command to advance quests. do I need to know something specific for the quest in order to advance it.

Well I found the flowers with the help from somebody on the nexus forum who had the same problem. I'm not sure what causes the problem. But if you also have The Lost Spires the bouquet ends up in a chest in the head masters room. when I was playing Lost Spires I remember seeing them and grabbing them. Then when I was playing this quest the flowers disappeared. So I went back and looked in the chest like was suggested and the quest advanced. Of course it told me that my hunch was right about getting them in Bruma.

So I guess this thread can be closed now.
