This rocks.

It does indeed.

As a player that took a gamble on Brink (I'm more of an action/RPG game player) by preordering it;
I can say I'm pleased.

I wish more games like Brink & Portal 2 take free DLC into consideration (at least somewhat). :tops:

Glad to hear about the update too. Especially about the bot AI! I was just thinking I was a terrible player as of late.

Finally a developer who is proactive about making necessary changes in a timely manner. Plus free DLC!

Thank you for making a great game even better.

Cheers to you SD

OMG, thank you, SD! :intergalactic:

It is rare that devs listen to the people..... and even more, to respond and make changes and fixes!

Plus, free DLC?! That's just..... superspecialawesome! :celebration:

My faith has been restored. I've never played a SD game, but now I know that SD is a company that listens and is pro-active to make and consider changes. ^_^

Already a huge improvement with just the tweaks made. Cant wait for update this game is so fun, bet the update will make the textures like twice as good and hopefully no latency with max human players. Splash damage rocks

Glad this is helping. As noted in last night's blog post, we'll continue to make adjustments to the game. As more develops on that, we'll keep you in the know.

You dont need to keep bumping your thread Trizz lol its admirable what youve accomplished - But dont worry, if it gets more popular itll get stickies, or the information will be moderated by mods and put into a comfier page for others to read...

But i thought it would be nice too add my 2 cents too - So Thank you again guys, i understand the pressure must be intense and heavy on your backs, but im sure you guys will pull through.

That last patch really was a rabbit out the hat - With such great timing , and so fast, so that alone is proof that this game will be sorted with time (And by looks of it not alot of it!).

Good too see 3 years of waiting & £30 is paying off!

Good luck.

To show our appreciation for your support of Brink, we will be making the first DLC for Brink available for free when it is released. This DLC is planned for June and will offer additional maps.

Free maps being added?!?!?

You guys rock!

I would just like to know when the update is coming to fix the lag and texture issues. I do not need an exact date, I would just like to no about when, as a consumer of your product, I can enjoy this game (if ever). Days? Weeks? Months?
BTW, its quite obvious that no one played the xbox 360 version on a normal xbox 360 at all during the dev cycle. Even a 5 yr old can spot these texture issues. In addition, the lag over xbl, how was this not immediately spotted? these kinds of things upon purchasing a new title make me loose faith in the gaming industry. "Were looking into it", doesnt really satisfy me. I remember waiting ages for the new vegas patch (worth it eventually I spose) If your going to scrap this project, please lemme know now so I can return this unplayable n64 looking game, or atleast put it away for a bit so I dont have to wake up hoping for a patch (like I did everyday for a month with new vegas, beth soft your out of house launches all svck, tell you something?). If the patch will be here next few days or even weeks, let me know that too. If Im going to be waiting months to play a finished product, PLEASE let me know this too. Its not fair to your consumers. Thank you.

Just to let you know, mine is a first batch xbox, bought on the night of its release. And everything works fine for me, minus the odd little bit of lag.
Just install it to your hard drive and everythings fine.

still waiting,
its getting a little ridiculous to expect the average consumer to still be around. I consider myself pretty hardcoe and this is just exactly what i didn't want from the release. This is New Vegas all over again for me. looking at these same Bethesda forums everyday hoping for just a snip of what is goin on Def wont be buying Skyrim at launch. And 10 bux for the new fallout dlc? thats 5 more than they give you if you trade that game into gamestop. To my reluctance, im probably going to purchase it it just because this game is unplayable, and im sick of halo and bc2. Ive never felt screwed over harder by a single corporation before, not even microsoft or apple. the first dlc better be a miracle, cus this is epic fail. Please stop this trend, and please fix this game.

thank you, a concerned consumer of your products.

edit: edited to add rant
