So my rep with the NCR is Dark Hero and no matter what I do to them to get my rep up, my rep level won't increase. Even if I use console commands to increase reputation it doesn't work. But what is stranger is that when I wear NCR armour and it makes me neutral with NCR, I then use console commands to up my rep and I can get myself to Idolized. But when I take the armour off I'm back to Dark Hero!

I don't won't to wear NCR armour all the time because of other factions attacking me, can anyone help?

Dark Hero is just about idolized, but you killed some of their guys. You can't undo killing some of them.

Which makes total sense, because they have no reason to trust you given your past actions.

Some things in this game are just irreversible, and some quests unattainable, based on actions you took in the past. IMO that's what makes this game so great, that you have to consider what repercussions your actions might cause further down the line.

There is a bug in the current build that will set both the Legion and NCR reputations to Dark Hero.

I don't recall killing any of them, I helped them take the NCRCF back so they should love me!
