Unbelievable stupid decision... just unbelievable
CE3 Education SDK support 32bit, and Leaked version support 32bit? But 64bit only now? Epic fail

What if you have 64bit. the 1.9 patch and you still get that error message? Do you have to extract this somewhere in particular?

My OS is 32bit.

Hmm... some people can run on 32bit OS.
Anyway, I think my problem isn't OS problem. This is just install problem.
I can't understand.

Yeah, what a f'ing joke this is. Oh well, back to CoD mods, since even those idiots can successfully put together some mod tools....

???

More than half of the pc users are using windows XP.
Cryengine 3 drastically decreased some of graphic features (i.e. texture resolution, draw distance etc. to decrease minimum requirement for lower end pcs. )
Crysis 2 was released as DX9 based game.

I don't really think editor itself is system taxing as DX11+ Hires pack combined, therefore 32bit OS should handle them just fine technically.

I am not sure why they did this, lack of time or else, still need fix, why limit their own possible sales by deliberately limiting chances?

I believe there are less windows 64 bit users than DX11 capable card users on forum, why is this?

I cannot install it either.

I have Crysis 2, 1.9 patch and 64 bits OS. I have the origin version. The path is ''C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Crysis(R) 2 Limited Edition''

I tried to change the path's name and it didn't work either.

What's up?

your game directory must be like this, otherwise sdk installer will never find the game

Also check if your (R) is a special symbol, because if it is, remove it.

Because that's what I've read up on another thread, where someone figured that one out.

And by the way, the (R) is not required. Mine's like this;

C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis 2\

And now (after much hassle with the installation) the editor works just fine. :)
