Why would they want to? i think it is something they would be proud to hang on to though. I am sure they could learn to , if they wanted to. people from New York, Boston and the south do it all the time. It's not easy but can be accomplished.

What do you mean by "Topic. TES:IV Oblivion references are not legit. "?

Topic: The question is the topic.
Oblivion references: In Oblivion Khajiti spoke 1st person because they shared the voices of the Argonians. Just like the Nords shared the Orc voices.

Why would you want that?? That removes their originality and the Khajiit badassery!

Nah, the 'not given to self reflection' bit runs real deep.

No, not entirely. As I said in the other thread, there are plenty of Khajiit (in Leyawiin especially) that speak in first person with dialogue specific to them. If you need proof:

Spoiler
"Sorry, sorry, sorry. Got to get cooking. I'm the cooking sister. I'm http://uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Shomara. The cooking sister. I cook here. And live here. With Shuravi and Shamada. We're sisters. Three. Shuravi - one. Shamada - two. And me - three."

"I(http://uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Tsavi) have been happy enough in the Count's service. But I am not so happy about his lovely wife, and her Nibenean advisor. Lady Alessia is uncomfortable with Khajiit ways. And Argonian ways. And Dunmer ways. She is only comfortable with pure white-bread Nibeneans."

But whatever. Maybe it was an oversight or something.

Still, I don't see any reason as to why a Khajiit couldn't get rid of their accent, though, as someone already said.
