I think u'll have no problem, just try checking not running/downloading anything in background,it should be just fine in my opinion.

My m11x R2 has yet to be troubled by much but I reckon Brink is going to push it.

With how laptops heat up and how [censored] the CPU is I wouldn't want to play BRINK on that laptop. You might play alright at first but once that laptop heats up kiss 30 - 50 % of your performance bye-bye.

I agree, these are gaming laptops however and therefore cope a bit better. We all know desktop is the way to go but to some a laptop makes sense even with the caveats, I think it'll run OK.

Need some advice as well here.

ATI Radeon HD 4530
4 GB DDR3 RAM
Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 @2.2 GHz

I don't care about graphics, and if possible, I wouldn't mind modding the game (like with fps configs on source games) to look horrible. Just need to know wether my laptop can handle the game without constant stuttering, at a decent framerate (decent being 30+ FPS during firefights)

Nerfed, most people are working, so giving people 20 minutes to respond then re-posting, is not the best idea.

I'm with the "Questionable" camp on these specs. I'm playing Brink on my laptop, and hoping it should be ok.

i7 Quad 2630
GTX 460m GPU 1.5gig
4 Gig Ram

I'm not convinced the Ram is enough, and I need another 4.
