Can't learn the last word for Unrelenting Force! (XBOX ONE)

Post » Sun Oct 30, 2016 2:24 am

Everytime I try to learn the last word of the shout, "Unrelenting Force", it tells me to learn it from "Wulfgar" who isn't located inside High Hrothgar like he's supposed to be, infact, no other grey beards are in High Hrothgar other than Arngeir. Wulfgar is instead located on a tall rock East of Helgen. I somehow find a way up there, but when I do and speak to him, he just bows, nothing else, no word learned.

This is a HUGE problem I'm facing because of the fact I will not be able to continue their missions and not be able to learn the last word of the most important shout.

Is there anyway to fix this? I've already restarted my console like 3x now, taken different paths to get to this quest and it's completely a stuck bug.

I hope the developers patch this very soon!

Try waiting 30 in game days

Try loading an older game save?

Are you using any mods

Either try even an older game save or a start a new character. Bethesda games the best practice is to make a new manual game save every 15 minutes or so as well if you can a game save before starting a quest.

I shouldn't have to start a new character to begin with. I have never had this problem before on the 360, so it's a problem for the developer to look into. After all, I did pay $60.

These things does happen in the Original game from 2011 including the 360 with glitches to quests and NPC's. These glitches do not happen all the time.

The least Bethesda can do is to look into it. They did just release the game today on a new console.

So basically, it's a brand new game now. Running on a new console, so it's opening up more bugs.

Then it is best to post in new forums since Bethesda is not that active here.

Oblivion still has game breaking bugs from nearly 10 years ago. Bethesda are not known for looking into anything and when they do they usually make it worse, and then have the cheek to try and make a joke about the situation. (Backwards flying dragons anyone?)

Maybe the person has been playing for 20 hours.

I do not think I have had any character that got to the point the OP has in thousands of hours but I hardly ever do quests except the radiant ones and let my characters have a life in the game like being a lumberjacker for 40 plus hours in the week or a guard.

Oblivion? This dates back way past that. Daggerfall has game breaking bugs.

The Night King, I'm pretty sure I saw you saying you never played an RPG before earlier this week? Consider me confused.

Any Bethesda game has bugs and for some they can be game ending.

Apparently I'm not the only one with this problem. Another player posted on the forums page you gave me. Same problem.

If you guys could, please try to do the quest of the greybeards and reply back if anything you guys find out. I have a feeling this is a bug happening to everyone else, if not everyone, most.

I will see but I have feeling it might be sometime since I let the characters decide on what they do since it is their life.
