i heard that i could send my current companion back to the lucky 38 instead of having to go back to where i got them.. how do i do this?

It's really easy, all you have to do is tell them you want them to leave, and then the dialog option to send them to the Lucky 38 suite comes. Infact, I have all companions. and whoever I'm not using stays in the suite.

Telling them to go back to the lucky 38 is bugged. They will either go back or they will stand in the same spot you left them last.

i cant get them to go back period.. there is not option on my screen... it says something like "cass has gone back to the mojhave outpost" or wherever they are from.. the only option i have is to send them away.. i had a convo with one of them about the lucky 38 (cass i think) but she said something negative about it

works fine for me.

but you dont get to keep their perks.
