WheneverI try to load any of my saves, the game freezes at the roulette screen. My character is in New Vegas with all 3 of my saves which I fear may be the issue. Does anybody know of a fix for this?

Hi, I have the same problem with my last 9 savefiles (or maybe more), I can't load them because of the DLC-error. Hopefully they'll release a patch to fix the corrupted files, because I don't really want to start again. I spent 60,- Euros for it and New Vegas has a lot of bugs, especially the DLC-bug is really pissing me off.

curious to find out if this bug/crash occurs at random points or quests in the game or only during the come fly with me quest line? Mine happened during come fly with me..

Even if you had a non-corrupt save file to load from, you'll just start creating more corrupt save files withing an hour or two.
Of course you can't tell they are corrupt until you reboot your Xbox, as they seem to work just fine in the same play session they were created.

It happened a little bit after I completed the "come fly with me"-quest, as I followed the main quest again. I was in a casino and searched for the guy who killed me. He left the room and his bodyguards attacked me, and because I had no weapons to defend myself, I decided to reload a savefile. From that point, I couldn't reload the last 9 savefiles and I didn't try to load more of them, because I was very pissed.

I've got about 50 savefiles and also one just before the "come fly with me"-quest, but right now I'm waiting for a patch. I also have the space suit, but I wasn't wearing it, it's just in my inventory. Someone said, that the suit is causing some bugs - I don't know.

stopped playing because of this glitch...all of my saves are unable to be loaded except those from 1 hour into the game. if this is fixed and saves are still unable to load then looks like I will be returning the game.

Still no word from Obsidian or Bethesda other than 4 days ago when they said it was only a small group of 360 users experiencing this and told us saving often would help. It isn't and it doesn't.

exactly, they sound as if they are sayin the 'few' people who have the problem should just 'save often' as if that's the 'fix' we are all looking for. it isnt.

also when they say 'few' obviously they are not counting the thousands of players who have had the same problems but havnt signed up on the forums or sent an email to complain. sigh.

Having anybody tried to send them some "corrupted" saved games yet?

I have not saved anything to an xbox360 USB memory stick yet so I don't know what can be read if you put the memory stick in the computer. Then we need find some way to contact Bethesda Softworks directly to pass them the save games in the form of email attachments. We can say all we wants about the corrupted saves but they cannot examine them properly without getting some copies of them.

It's definitely not the suit. During the "The House Always Wins" quest the game will freeze upon trying to get back into the strip. Regardless of saves, cache, inventory, or anything else. I have tried entering form Freeside and the monorail side. Everytime you try to reach the Lucky 38 the game freezes and the save corrupts.

not sure if the DLC save error is a corrupted save or something different? checked over the saved files and they seemed in working order, just the game doesnt want to load them. a fix to this might see us able to load up these saves again maybe?

I've copied my save game to a USB just to see if it would load, but lo and behold it does the exact same thing described in this thread. Any way that I attempt to load any of my games either freezes up on the loading screen, or gives the ol' DLC required error. I've tried anything I can find, including clearing the cache, moving it to a USB stick, nothing works. 14 hours in and I'm stuck. I really REALLY hope they fix it so that I can load my game, I do NOT want to start from scratch. I also don't want to end up starting from scratch and run into the problem again another 14 hours in . All of these solutions to "load from a previous save file" do not work in this case... since ALL of my save files have become unusable.

I had the same problem come up after Come Fly With Me. I went to Hover Dam right after and game froze and then couldn't load that save. I didn't keep an extra save slot for that game and I don't think that I should have to. The game should work properly and a solution shouldn't be to just make multiple saves of your game so if something bad happens you can reload at an earlier point. I am hoping they can fix this so I don't have to restart. I put 18 hours into the game on hardcoe at Very hard settings and it pains me to think about having to replay that much after all that hard work.

think they should treat us all with the upcomming DLC after this...

I was able to load a savefile just before the end of the "come fly with me"-quest, I only need to find the fuel for the rockets. I won't complete this quest until the patch arrives and do some sidequests/exploring. If nothing bad happens, I won't have to repeat many quests - maybe 2.
