If someone has an account here that he doesn's need and it doesn't work ingame, than please try this and post the result:
Delete your account on the site and try to reregister it from the game.(wait about half an hour between)

This is not a known solution this is something im curious about, so ONLY TRY THIS IF YOU DON'T NEED YOUR ACCOUNT, because if it doesn't work you probably can register with it again!!!

I created this account i'm writing with (account Z) because i'm stuck in this funny bug: I created a non-hypotetical account, X, back in the demo (downloaded via steam) from the in-game prompt with the hypotetical credentials Nickname: A, e-mail: B and psw: C. Now, i could log in into crysis 2 MP with these credentials but i could not log into gamesas.com. So i created another non-hypotetical account, Y, on MC with Nickname: A, e-mail: B and psw: D. Obviusly the latter didn't work on C2MP as the former didn't work on MC.
Today C2 shipped to my house i tryed logging in C2MP with Y and it failed; i tried with X and it succeded. I deleted Y from MC. Tried logging into MC with X and it failed. Tried resetting the psw for the e-mail B - shared by the accounts - and it tells me there's no such account, yet, if i try to create another account on MC with X credentials it tells me both A and B are taken for their respective function of Nickname and e-mail. This is totally ****ed-up.
As things are now Y has been deleted so it doesn't work anymore on MC and has never worked on C2MP; Z works on C2MP and MC; X works on C2MP but not on MC.
Dunno what you think but this obviusly has something to do with accounts created from the demo version which are stuck somewhere in the authentication tangle. Hope you get out of this crytek U_U

1o if you dont log in, because an error appeared "an error ocurred check your internet connection".
- uninstall game , install again , and install ea donwload manager, first update game and after open edma and agregate crysis 2 and launch

2o probably after that, cannot login because "account is invalid, pass incorrect", well, create an account inside the game.

3o when you are in multiplayer screen probably says "serial are in use" well, back to singleplayer screen and back to multiplayer put again the cd key , and enjoy the game,

After this 3 steps y can play normally.

you try to login with your Crysis account you use at this homepage. that doesn′t work. try to use the GameSpy Account. That works fine.

I just tried to log in with my gamespy account (Which I've used since the first Crysis) on this site (gamesas.com) and I suddenly had an account here. I have not made it myself, I guess it was automatically created when i logged in for the first time in-game.

I'm going to try and change my password here and see if it does change in-game, it does not change in-game when I change the password on gamespy.com.

same problem wouldnt allow me to log in ingame... Wrong nick and or password and had the same problem when the demo ran and crytech answered that it was becuz the demo was shutdown... so i got tired of that **** and i made a new email with new nick and different password... that worked for me... just lame solution...

Can't login either

After Crysis2 was installed I choosed the option to register an account for gamesas.com.
I got the error-message "email-address is already used" but I cant remember that I already created an account over the last years.

With the "forgot password"-option I could reset the password and now I can at least login on the webpage itself but my username is now my email-address and email-addresses aren't accepted as correct usernames by the gamesas-login in the Crysis2 game-interface.
Is there a way to change the user-name?

I tried to use the support-area of this side to report this but this function does not work correct too - when I push the "send button" the side itself just scrolls up and down in my textmassage. It only works when I refresh the side and push the "send"-button before the side is totally refreshed then I receive the message "send succesfully" ...

I have bought the game today in limited edition...when i try to log in the system says:
Invalid nickname;your online name must be long minimum 3 letters

it doesn't work for everyone, I myself can't login to crysis 2 or crysis 1
even after changing my password many times on gamespy website and gamesas.com

What was the point of demo? THIS bug is not a new one. It was here since the begining of the demo. Oh.. god I seriously regret buying this game. Probably last EA product I will ever buy again. Thanks for wasting my LE's 2nd day.

I think the only way to fix this problem is by resetting all accounts and unifying the database to just one server.
the problem with that is, people who have been playing and ranking up would lose all their progress.

but then again I admit this is still pure speculation on my part, as we are not getting allot of feedback regarding this problems from Crytek.

I get the same problem as when the servers were overloaded during the demo period. I get stuck on "Logging in" screen. I bought the game retail for pc.

because with mine (the first) when I open the page of the forum or the EDIT PROFILE it's like I'm logged in and if I click on SIGN IN and I insert email and password I don't notice any errors but It's just if I did nothing!
well...but It's not ended! because obviously I cannot play my multiplayer because I do not have my username!
On the site when I am logged in my username it's my email!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but if I write it in the game like a username the letters of my email are too much and I cannot write all my email
I don't think that my username is like my email...I am sure of that...because it's too long
but the great problem is that I cannot edit my profile and write on this forum with my account, and so I cannot discover my username!! (and if I ask the mail for a new password they doesn't write my username on the mail!
What I have to do??? I had to use a new account to write here, but I have the serial key with other account....

It seems when you reset your password gamesas also "forget" your username and now your usernames IS your email. I have the same problem...
When I post in this forum I see my emailaddress instead of a normal username besides my avatar :/

yes excuse me....but I have to tell you:
what are you saying??? my password includes (in the other account) just 3 numbers and 5 letters!
and why they can write on the forum but not loggin' in in the game??? well, I think you hypothesis it's not exact

for example my problem is that I can see all pages on the site except FORUMS (all the section) and EDIT PROFILE because it seems like I am never logged in!!! and also if I try to sign in directly from the section it doesn't notice ANYTHING!!
Now I'm writing with another account but another strange thing is that for this site my username is my email address but it is too long for the game to be write as a username...infact ifI try to write it I cannot add " .it"
in a mail address like "a*****.****o@hotmail.it"
but with this account (which I'm writing) I have no problem...but -I want and I have to- play with my originary account!
