"This fix is mainly for users that have previously registered a Crysis 1 account, but should prove helpful to others too.

If you are having problems signing into Crysis 2, you should try using your Crysis 1 login details. If you cannot remember your Crysis 1 username, please visit this page to retrieve it, using your gamesas account e-mail address and password.

If you do not have a Crysis 1 username, this link may still be useful as it provides you with your Crysis 2 username if your account was created successfully."

Hey Cry-Tom, I've been having the same incorrect login detail problem. I tried the link you used and found something strange. I could log into the gamespy on my old crysis 1 username, the one that is currently working in crysis 2 MP, but the login was using an outdated email address. I double checked gamespy and confirmed my account that is associated with the crysis 1 username has had it's email changed a while ago. I can't login with the new email but can still login with the old email from your link.

My new gamespy account with my new crysis 2 login also have newer emails and I have been unable to access that gamespy account at all.

Update on my situation:

Since the 1st April I have been able to login using the username I created for the Crysis 2 demo. I've joined multiple servers and tested it at various times throughout the day and so far have had no problems logging in.

Interestingly, before I was able to login (IN GAME) I had previously been receiving the message "An error has occurred. Please check your network connectivity." However, late on the 31st (I think) I actually received the message which a lot of other people here had been getting, "Incorrect login details, please retry. For account maintenace, or to change your password, please access you profile through gamesas." This was the first time I had received this particular message. When I attempted to login a few hours later, it did so successfully in just a couple of seconds.

I'm not sure if this is Crytek's doing where they're slowly tackling our problems bit by bit, but if they are I'd advise you all to keep trying to login as it's possible that the issue may have been fixed for others as well.

.. the problem is, that most of us redeemed the limited edition code before checking the login!!

nope i logged into the game before redeeming the code.

same problem here. unfortunately i redeemed my limited edition code before i tried it in crysis 2... hope there is a fix soon!

Currently 10 days after release, and still no fix. Bought the game specifically for MP too :(

so did i.

i checked my gamespy account and i use the same nickname on there. the password is different to the one i use for Crysis 2/gamesas, but that shouldn't matter as i don't use gamespy to look for servers, i use the in game browser which is buggy as hell.

Gonna add my name to the long list.

Initially I could log on, but couldn't redeem my LE code.

I then reset my password as per the EA Customer Support instruction. Which worked to redeem the code.

But then when I tried login on after my code is redeemed, I can no longer log onto MP.

The thing is, I'm kinda starting to lose interest in this game... By the time they'll fix login, graphic and connectivity issues I'll be long over this piece of ****.

i think i have already lost interest. so many bugs and glitches. i am thinking of returning the game. i bought it online so i don't know how i'd go about that.

I have the same problem! :(

I have included my limited edition features in my account an now i can't login with it! :'(

Same boat, plus i paid $200 for Nano edition, only to be told EA forgot to ship them to AU and now i have a 5 week wait for my backpack etc.

At least i had SP to play, but now i'm left with my LE unlocks tied to an account i cannot play with.

i also paid around that much for the Nano Edition. 5 week wait?!??!?! holy **** that is ridiculous. they told me i'd get it by the following week which from the date of the email should have been yesterday. it's been 11 days since the release of the game and it's unplayable and also have to wait so **** long for my collector's items. arrrrrrrrgh i am going nuts, i am so pissed off at Crytek and EA.

My account i've created few days ago still works.

Anyone tried creating a new GameSpy account and then creating account in-game with the same name, password and email as Gamespy? It's working for me even with local email provider, not gmail or hotmail...

So, I tried creating a new account ingame (Delta748) and succeeded. After that I tried redeeming the code for the Limited Edition again, and strangely enough, it said that my code was already redeemed. I managed to log into multiplayer with my new account with all the LE unlocks. I just deleted my old account and everything still works fine. It just seems like their databases are really screwed up.

This is disgusting, Crytek have a thread here with over 100 pages of customers UNABLE to play the game they paid good money for.

Pull your finger out, cheaters/hackers can wait. I just want to play the game i paid you for

Hmm... Are you sure? I don't want to risk losing my stuff. Anyone else done this and has it worked?

I have the same problem as all these other good people. When is it going to get fixed?

Luckily single player is more important to me than multi player, but soon I'll finish the campaign and want to get stuck in to MP.

Same problem for me, but it is giving a network connection error instead! ****! I hate how games these days ship with all manner of bugs - I shouldn't have to pay for a game until it works properly!

I manage to solve my problem (somewhat). Because my nick login failed after I redeemed my LE code, I create a new account with a different nick but the same email address... and walla, problem (somewhat) solved - I can now login AND have my LE code working :)

Seems like the LE redeem code is tied to your Crysis 2 email account, so as long as the email account stays the same it'll work regardless.


Summary:
- I registered my gamesas.com account during the beta
- I tried to redeem the code via the LE page after my LE arrived, but couldn't get it to work (doesn't recognise the login)
- I used the "forgotten password" function to kick the LE page into allowing me to redeem the code
- I then had login issues in MP with the my gamesas.com account in-game
- I then created a new nickname while keeping the same email account I redeemed my code in.

Outcome:
- Code redeemed, have to use a different nickname, but can login and play with my LE benefits.

Overall, a bit disappointed with Crytek since we PC gamers have to put up with all this BS, but at least my problem is solved.
