Same here...at one point I just went ahead and created a new account right in game so I could at least download the limited edition bundle and jump into multiplayer, but to do that, jumping through hoops, I just passed, now I'm sitting here playing single player until Crytek fixes this and I can login with my original nickname and download the bundle.

There's no doubt that this is just fraudulent behavior. I didn't buy the first one, read how great it was, made the mistake of buying 2. Never again. And never will I let my kids buy from them either.

I don't think this issue is ever going to be fixed.

yeah i was playing the game fine before 1.2 went in, since then its like they just turned the server off haven't been able to play at all. the thing that pisses me off the most is not that i cant play the MP, even thou i payed 60 bucks for half a game, is that there is no messages at all from any of crytek saying "hey guys we know there's an issue sorry we are working on it" or anything to that effect. all i want to do is play MP a little bit after i get off work. working 12 hour days and coming home to play and drink a beer and pass the hell out, oh wait guess ill just have to do 2 of those for now.

dosnt work for my... next day without mp

So I have a gamesas account etc etc and when I click login it instantly gives me an error telling me to check connectivity. Are the servers down? What the hell is going on. Even when I try to make a new account it keeps saying "creating account" and does nothing and I have to end the program with task manager to escape.

It Worked for me too ,i had an account created during the beta thru webside( redeemed code thru webside) but could not enter in game. In game i did what Crytechie said but had to change nick a little and then put Urs CD key NOT bonus key and i was in . I can log in thru webside with my old and new nick as well. Thx dude.

EDIT: now i have 2 passwords that will log my email into the forums.... so now i think i have something like 3 accounts


but i can still only use my OLD crysis wars account to play the game.....

i said one word to EA to get my money back "Fraud".... and got a fast refund... The truth is Crytek released a product with the intent on gaining a profit with advertised features not working.... this is an easy case for a class action if they refuse anyone asking for a refund..... even worse though is Crytek has damaged there own rep... Crysis was an amazing game....

Meh, I've given up.. at this point have lost my interest (and $60, lol) in Crysis 2. Am guessing it'll be a good Month or longer before this is fixed. It's quite embarrassing for them to have amateur database management issues given the simplicity behind database management (am a web developer)... I'll come back here now and again to see if fixed, but highly doubt will be anytime soon. ATM they don't exactly have competition so I assume because of this they feel it's ok to take it slow. Sure you could sue them as according to consumer rights act they're committing by the book fraud. They'd likely lose millions if not more, but to me that's just hurting the cause even further; I want the game fixed, not tanked entirely. I feel Blizzard is the only company I can trust anymore. Hell they won't even give you a release date until they know it's ready.

Wanted to try the demo, but got the same problem. It just says that my e-mail is in use and when I change the password, I don't know what Username i'm using.

Surprise! Today I managed to login (in the game) - for the first time ever - using my OLD password!

How's that possible? My new password works here on MycCysis.com, but not in the game. My old password seems to work in the game! It's as if it were two different accounts?

My full story:

1. I had an account since a long time ago (when I played Crysis 1).

2. Now, after having bought Crysis 2 on Steam, I no longer remembered my password. So I used the "Forgot password" (or something similar) link here on gamesas.com, and chose a new password. Fine - here on gamesas.com. In the game, however, I could not log in with it.

3. Found the discussion about problems here. Decided to wait (I'm no hardcoe gamer - just wanting to have some fun after work sometimes). A bit annoying, but I guess any database can have problems sometimes.

4. Now I found my old password, and thought (today): "What if I try it?" Don't know why I thought it, it obviously shouldn't work. But, guess what? It did!! I was so confused that I didn't dare to move on - I cancelled out of the process.

Still waiting for proper advice...

I am quite annoyed when I think of it - I bought this game to play it - multiplayer, too - not to stare at a message saying "Incorrect login details".

But, main question: how is it possible that my old password works in the game, when I have obviously successfully changed it? Is it two accounts or one?

Tried CRYTECHIE's fix - didn't work for me...

i cant get in multiplayer, says incorrect login details:S i have my email as my account name and cant change it as well(i heard somewhere that game doesnt see @ in a name so that might be reason i cant login), and game asks cd key each time i start it (in login details it becomes blank after each new start). Seriously how hard is it to just put a name change option to profiles or manage a working multiplayer login screen.

Didn't work for me either
