Guys, I know the solution to this. Unfortunately, it requires changing your nickname to something not taken by another account. Go to http://www.gamesas.com/forums/ucp.php and you'll have to change it to something else, and then it works. I Just changed my name from DRK3 to DRKThr33 and now I can log in. Meh...it'll do.

Tested it and IT WORKS! Thanks DRK!

I can't even change my name... it always say: "an error occured" even if I try to change my name to djmlzejofzenkl ( the chance that this name is taken is like 0.000000001%)

I can't do this because where it says to change the username, you are asked to enter your password. It doesn't recognize my password even though I am logged in and I am confident with the number of tries I have done, that I have entered it correctly.

Hey for those of you having problems entering your password, try changing your password in the User Control Panel, and try that new password. Any luck?

The option to change my nickname doesn't even exist for me.

and new patch 1.4 but didn't fix it so I wonder what they do

Ok when are u guys gonna fix the login error? i downloaded the demo and couldnt get on then with the gamesas.com account and now i have the dam game and it still won't let me in. Its telling me i have either the nickname or the password wrong...... they are not wrong.. sooooo whats up?

hey guys dont know if this has been said yet but I was having the problem that i couldn't sign in ingame, somehow my nickname was my email address and I think the @ and . arn't aloud to be appart of your nickname so it won't work. Each time I tried to change my nickname on my crysis I kept getting " A ERROR OCCURRED" . Well someone said that they are linked to gamespy, so instead go to gamespy and sign in using the email address you normally use and then use the nickname you use on one of your gamespy account in the gamesas sign in. (note: I use the same password for both gamespy and mycysis so i dont know if that helps it work). Its the same account because the welcome message has been deleted. And i can now sign in using my nickname ingame. happy days. hopes this helps

I always get the message, "An error has occured, please check you network connectivity." whenever I attempt to log in to the multiplayer. Last night I was able to play multiplayer, so that means that it let me log in... I havent changed anything and it isnt letting me log in. My internet still works through my browsers, steam is still connected... i dont see any network problems (from what i can tell).
what is this????

i wrote crytec a message about this problem.... i don't think they will do something about it.

I think the issue is that the game is tied to Gamespy, and when some of us first created our accounts, the username we used on gamesas was taken on Gamespy yet it didn't check the nickname prior to making it, causing the log in error...
