I can't login to Crysis 2 game with my gamesas.com accou

If i understood right the promo codes are tied to email accounts so if you create new nickname with same account ingame you should be fine.

Do not vouch this for me tho this is just i have seen people write on forums so dont come blaming me if this isnt the case ;p

When I try to create new account using email address from this account - it says that its already used for another gamesas account and I should use password recovery etc.

I have had it up to here with this Gamespy ****. I created an account to play crysis 1 mp and that took 3 WEEKS to find a site which actually told you to create a new account and enter the info for your existing gamespy acc. Now for crysis 2 I created a COMPLETELY NEW Gamespy AND gamesas acc even with a COMPLETELY NEW email I cant log in AT ALL to C2 mp. however my old name still works. I want to create a new acc, I have created a new account, SO WHY WONT IT LOG IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all i have is my old piece of crap nickname and because Gamespy has no account deletion feature (cos they are a piece of ****) I cant log on with the name I want! FIX THIS!!!!!!!!!

I think only the possibility to remove the own account to recreate it, could solve the problem.

May it be possible, that this issue only exists for accounts, which were created on gamesas before Crysis 2 was released ? For me, i have created the account sometimes last year.

Yeah i created a new account with a new 1 time email, sent crytek an email explaining the problem, its their problem so they will have to transfer my stats from my second account to my first wich is unavalible right now.

Its a shame they release a game that should still be in beta as this is not the only issue i experienced...

Very frustrating...
I created an acount on the site, then redeem the code I had in the limited edition, but I can't play online on the game it says wrong password or I don't know what ****...
The big thing is that the account I created on the game works on the game but not on the site !!!
IS THIS SOME SORT OF BIG JOKE CRYTEK?
please fix this quickly...

amazing.... still no news about this issue, i can see you guys are on top of it, clearly the devs don't give a poop about it's customers but they are more then happy to take our money for a broken product.

I am having massive problems with this. As in the beta I was unable to login with any of the email addresses I normally use, even if they did not have a gamesas account, or even a Game Spy account, associated with them and thus I had to create a new Hotmail account to use. However now with the game that same account now no longer works. As such I created yet another new Hotmail account which I used to create this account, and am having to use to post this as non of the other accounts will let me post of the forums even though they will let me login fine, only to realise that somehow I managed to activate my Limited Edition code on the account I wanted to use originally and thus cannot tie it to this account. All this would be perfectly easily fixed if I could use my original account to play, or even if I was able to tie a new gamesas username to that email. I have tried changing password multiple times, using multiple browser in case it was a compatibility issue, all to no avail.

My question is simple, if you wanted to tie each copy of the game to one account or use accounts at all then why not use steam? Or EA accounts? Even GFWL works better than this messed up system.

LOL, anyway I just tried to play mp with my account that works( the one I created on the game and that have no redeem code) but everything is totally **** up... when you manage to reach a server(and beleive me it's hard) the countdown go to 0 and then nothing happens... THIS GAME IS CRAP and make me so sad

I can't login using this gamesas account either. My gamespy ID is the same and the passwords are the same.

In the demo it didn't work either, so I just created a throwaway account with a temp email, but now that this is the actual game I would like to use my regular account.

You mean you logged in to ign and didn't find your accounts? Or that you could not change the email address there? As gamesas accounts are linked to ign accounts you should find all your accounts over there at ign and be able to change email. This then frees your email up to create another account on gamesas with the email you want.

We've posted on this issue many times but it would seem it gets lost amongst all the other posts.

We are aware of the issue and investigating it now, we will post any updates in the forums as they come.

We've posted on this issue many times but it would seem it gets lost amongst all the other posts.

When I changed email account address at IGN.com to some other (valid one) - it didn't free my current email address. I couldn't use it ingame to create any new account, cause it was saying that - well, its in use.

And yeah, I waited circa 10min before trying. I went back to my old settings. Don't want to complicate things more than they are.

There must be some major **** up with gamesas database, that is responsible for all those problems.

I too am having issues getting my login to work. Game arrived this morning and when I try to login using my gamesas details I get informed that:

"Incorrect Login Details, please retry.

For account maintenance, or to change your password, please access your profile through gamesas"

Not the best way to start...

They messed up indeed. Hope they can come up with a solution soon.
I had to change email at ign for several accounts I had there until I could use it again in gamesas. Maybe I was just lucky and there are different grades of having a messed up account at gamesas.

Why didn't they investigate this in beta? There was the exact same thing happening.

Possible fix (worked for me):

Logout of gamesas. In the signin part of the gamesas, clock on "Forgot password?" and enter your email to reset your password. Go to your email, use the one-time login from there, and set a new password (I just used the same one I had using before).
