My login details when trying to access multiplayer are "incorrect". However I use the same account for gamesas and it works fine, And no I cant make another account because I already redeemed my LE code to this account. So pissed of right now :@

I was able to fix my issue. Don't know if it will work for anyone else, but I thought I'd post what worked for me.


I too, like most of you had the problem that when I signed up for the demo/full version MP account it told me my email was already in use. This confused me as I had never been to gamesas before. So I went through the "forgot my password" process on gamesas.com and was able to login to gamesas and found this forum post.
I read here that gamesas accounts were really gamespy accounts. So that sent me to Gamespy.com I then tried to login to gamespy.com. I had to use their "forgot my password" tool to recover my login. Note that I used the same email address that gamesas.com was saying was already in use. Once I was able to login to gamespy.com. I noticed I had a user name listed at the top right. (This ended up being the username that gamesas was asking for.) I went to the "my account" link at the top right. I then used the "verify my email" option. Once my email was verified. I loaded up the Crysis 2 game. I then used the username I got from gamespy and the password from gamespy. Although you might try your recovered gamesas password. Both are the same for me... But anyway I was finally able to login to Crysis 2 and enter my serial number and play online... Hope this helps, it's what worked for me.

I deleted this acc (I know it's buggy) and created a new one, but when i enter with my new acc on site, it shows I logged with my old acc, but i can't do it. New acc works in game in spite of it has same email with old.

A friend of mine was having the same problem as most of you lot here. i on the other hand never had any issue′s .So just out of curiosity i created another account. from a spare email add i use gave him the login name and password and what do ya know it let him in.. prior to this i believe he had tried everything possible. hope it works for some others out there...

when you deleted your account, they suspended your drupal account but your phpBB account still logged on and available

it's a database mess and a huge failure between user tables sync.

well hours later ... i still cant get in a server this is bleeding rediculous! same error my serial key is in use , or connection to host failed or server is full with 2/16 unreal this rubbish i hope you fix it soon or i will be seeking a refund.

If you have any symbols in your password (!#?+/&%¤), then try to exclude them.

Write the password without all symbols. Only letters and numbers. It worked for me.

This issue has gone on for days now and still no fix what so ever (expect broken delete account button that just breaks things even more).
If the team that coded this broken system in the first place is fixing it, then im having hard time believing that this will ever get fixed.
Crytek is gonna lose lot sales on this issue.

Demo had same account issues, they had weeks to fix this.
Very amateurish to have same problems in retail.

This is getting stupid, days of no reply and no fix.
Remember people you can demand a refund of the game. Game should be single/multi player, and as we all know 1 section is broken.

i had the same problem with the Email adress, now i start a new registration with the same email adress, but i change my nickname and i have complette the registration..

I hope I could help you all to play with the same email adress online!

Guys, the login for the multiplayer uses Gamespy....not gamesas.com.
Login with your gamespy nickname and password, and it will work.

This worked for me. Login with your gamespy nick and pass.

when you logged in on gamesas.com ... go to edit profile/ account settings ... delete the account ... start the game ... create an account ... you might not able to choose your choosen nickname again ao try it out ... this is whym not ArlenNess / its ArlnNess now .. cause my older account used ArlenNess... sry but i dont know whether the limitededitioncode will be marked as free, free to newregister or it will be marked as in use ... i unlocked the limited edition key after i solved the problem not able to login the game ...cheers

Any idea what people should do if they dont have an existing gamespy account?

I have the same problem the game keeps telling me that I have incorrect login details and I cant play the game. Is there a way to fix this.

I have this problem too. Made 3 accounts now, none of them works.

I pay full price to support you guys, but you obviously dont feel the same way otherwise. I'll think twice before I buy a crytek title without listening to peers first IF you can actually go online with it.

Crytek should be sued libel imo.

The game uses GAMESPY! NOT gamesas.COM!!!!!!!!!!

I have emailed FP, talked to these guys and etc and NO ONE CARES! The game is giving FALSE information nothing more!

I had to use my alternate gamespy login to get it to work and is is total BS because I can get it to work in other games!
