you are right, you don′t "own" a server ir whatever. but you paid the service to play on a server. nobody said, that he want′s to go to the court or **** like that, those are just complains. we just want to play the game online with our accounts (that already have the limited edition stuff from preordering/supporting crytek). so they took the money from us, now we want to play online since that was the deal.

by the way, people which did not buy the game can play online, but I can′t as I am a customer and don′t want to use a "fake" account. isn′t really fair...

why i could play the demo with my mycrisis account but not the retail version thats ridicolus and it says everytime i try to log in that i have a network error?! what ?! thats total bull

Crytek did EA forced you to bring the game out as fast as possible??? now the costumers will love you for it thx alot

Just got the game off steam and yep I cannot log in to my gamesas account and I bought the Limited Edition.

Not seen anything here that is solution (my my but allot of fame baiting and trolls!)

Any word from the mods if this is being looked at?

current status is:
"I cannot log into Crysis 2 with my gamesas account
This is a known issue that is currently being investigated, when there is a fix to it we will update this post with the correct link."

Just have an eye on it, the solution should be posted there.

A friend says he's figured it out:

Apparantely they've mirrored the GameSpy database for accounts, but it breaks if there's multiple accounts with the same username.

I had the problem "An error has occurred please check your network connectivity " in the MP demo as well but it just fixed when I set the windows firewall but this time it doesn't work .
I tried turning off the windows firewall but still the error shows up...anybody does know what the hell is wrong with this game!!!!! I can log into any other game ... god damn

I have a solution, but I don't know if it's the right one...
You have to log on a Gamespy-account.. this hase worked for me with the beta..

Hey, use the GameSpy login data, not gamesas.com login data. The same that you used in Crysis/ Crysis Wars. The login part is supported by GameSpy. This will chage probably; in the demo they say GameSpy, but in the final game, they say gamesas - wrong; is still GameSpy.

I had a secondary email that I tried to create an account for with no avail during beta. I used the delete account feature on it and had success creating a new account off of said email in-game today (this one, I'm originally CaptThad). Even got my LE code registered to it. Finally in.

Weird (and inconvenient) that it showed my email instead of my username... relogging seems to have fixed that though. Can't even edit that post.

i tried this gamesas account, tried my gamespy account and "connected" my mycrisis account with the gamespy account over the account setup in this forum .... always: "password invalid"

by the way .. which loginname should i use?? gamesas or gamespy??
how the hell should users know??
