In all honesty I found EA support very useful.
First, they sent me another LE code after I explained my situation. Unfortunately the code didn't work, but I left it at that. At least they tried.
Second, they gave me a 20$ coupon for my next purchase. Hopefully this one will work in the future.
Third, they excused themselves sincerely twice, heh.
Fourth, they are well aware of the issue.
Then again, I don't see what EA has to do with this website not working or gamespy. They only thing they can do is apply pressure. This is entirely up to Crytek to fix.
Again, don't hold your breath.
What good would another LE code do if I can't stuff it in my CD-Key list on Steam?
What good is a $20 coupon for my "next purchase" when I don't BUY anything from EADM? Are they going to give me a promo code for Steam?
What good is them excusing themselves? I still can't play online.
What good is them being just aware of the problem?
Crytek (per the EULA) does not provide support. Literally, the EULA reads 10. Support
CRYTEK will not provide any support for CRYSIS. Please do not call or send email to CRYTEK regarding CRYSIS, as Crytek will not be able to respond or answer these inquiries.
So at this point, I have to ask.. will I have to write this game off as an overly expensive singleplayer experience? My patience is at an end now.
