I can't login to Crysis 2 game with my gamesas.com accoun

Once I got the game, I redeemed the LE code on my previously created gamesas account (Delta438). Unfortunately, I couldn't sign in due to the same problem that everyone has. So, I tried creating a new account ingame (Delta748) and succeeded. After that I tried redeeming the code for the Limited Edition again, and strangely enough, it said that my code was already redeemed. I managed to log into multiplayer with my new account with all the LE unlocks. I just deleted my old account and everything still works fine. It just seems like their databases are really screwed up.

This is disgusting, Crytek have a thread here with over 100 pages of customers UNABLE to play the game they paid good money for.

Pull your finger out, cheaters/hackers can wait. I just want to play the game i paid you for

Hmm... Are you sure? I don't want to risk losing my stuff. Anyone else done this and has it worked?

I have the same problem as all these other good people. When is it going to get fixed?

Luckily single player is more important to me than multi player, but soon I'll finish the campaign and want to get stuck in to MP.

Same problem for me, but it is giving a network connection error instead! ****! I hate how games these days ship with all manner of bugs - I shouldn't have to pay for a game until it works properly!

I manage to solve my problem (somewhat). Because my nick login failed after I redeemed my LE code, I create a new account with a different nick but the same email address... and walla, problem (somewhat) solved - I can now login AND have my LE code working :)

Seems like the LE redeem code is tied to your Crysis 2 email account, so as long as the email account stays the same it'll work regardless.


Summary:
- I registered my gamesas.com account during the beta
- I tried to redeem the code via the LE page after my LE arrived, but couldn't get it to work (doesn't recognise the login)
- I used the "forgotten password" function to kick the LE page into allowing me to redeem the code
- I then had login issues in MP with the my gamesas.com account in-game
- I then created a new nickname while keeping the same email account I redeemed my code in.

Outcome:
- Code redeemed, have to use a different nickname, but can login and play with my LE benefits.

Overall, a bit disappointed with Crytek since we PC gamers have to put up with all this BS, but at least my problem is solved.

Day 11...

I did have a Crysis account, it's been so long I don't recall the username and password anymore, really. I jumped on Gamespy's site to verify my name and password though. Nothing works here.

is there an address where we can file support tickets?
maybe crytek or EA start noticing if we start flooding their support system with hundreds of individual tickets.

in addition to that, we should start making this public. companies usually work faster if there is a public pressure.
a single thread with 100+ pages does not impose any pressure on the company!
it's still THEIR forum. meaning, it's contained and quiet.

Hey guys!
Creating a new account in-game worked for me. My old nickname is lost, but hey, you wanna play or still wait for an update that comes [insert random date here]. Used the same email-adress as for the old account -> limited edition features are still avaiable.
Hope you others can play online very soon!

i cannot create new account ingame.. when i fill form game is waiting and waiting... creating account.. and nothing hapend.. no error just nothing :(

You can try creating a new account to redeem the code. If it says it's already redeemed, then you should be safe. You don't have to delete your old account, if you're scared of losing the unlocks. FYI, I used the same email address for both old and new accounts. Maybe that had something to do with it? I was actually surprised they didn't say "this email address is already in use" or something.

Holy crap, look at the number of views and responses!

I also can not log in. Have spent a few days searching and trying various ways to fix it but ......

I just can't be bothered going through all this for one game, I'm sorry, just don't have it in me. Might come back someday, if the game ever works properly.

i just have acitvate my dlc code, but my profile was deleted, and then i have made a new profile, but i can not use the dlc code again with the new profile... and i have the same prob. with the login in the game, it says check network connection

OKAY THAT'S CRAZY!!

i redeemed my LE code to the account defqon.matteo@web.de
then i couldnt login in to crysis 2 game client. i deleted the account but couldnt create a new one(with same email ... ). when i tried to reset my password, it says they've sent an email ... but i didnt get one. but i also couldnt login to the "deleted" account. now i saw this:

i didnt login or something else, i only wanted to read the forum.

a few days ago i created a Gamespy account with the same email but another nickname "defqon88".
i tried to login in into crysis 2 multiplayer and i got the Limited Edition Bonus!
dont know what i did. maybe they've read my Support tickets.. maybe :)
Hope you guys have no longer to wait:)

I still can't login into the MP!

Crytek, please do fix this ASAP! This is not just a little bug or balance issue, it's an essential game feature. I was looking forward to the MP, and now I'm simply not able to play it.
