I think the Problem is that in Crysis 2 you need your Password from Gamespy. So when you played other games with a Gamespy-Account, and its another Password, you should try to use this. That solved my Login Problem. But i think the different passwords are the reason why i cant reedem my Ingame Account.
I had the same credentials on both accounts. Still didn't work.

So... I just got in. Here's the kicker.

The password is apparently pulled from gamesas.com and the username is pulled from IGN/Gamespy (which ever one you were lucky enough to get slapped with.) The LE content was there for me right when I got in too. This is really stupid, and really aggravating. Not only do I not have the proper name now, but it's also been almost a month and there are STILL technical issues beyond this login business that is such a frustrating thing to deal with.

I dont have this problem but I cant login it always says connection cannot be found or error check connection, this only just happened recently. but even then there are like massive amounts of lagging and hackers in multiplayer. The Crysis 2 multiplayer demo was better than this!

When is this going to be fixed?!!? This is insane.

Just recently started getting a "check connection error" as soon as i hit login.. Found it was after a windows update where it installed IE9, tried different security settings with no joy.. eventually removed IE9 and went back to 8.. and its working like a charm again.. hope this helps.

Ok this situation is very disturbing!!! I cant use the 3D as well and am really angry about this!!!! They should have a solution for this by now but the 1.2 update didnt work too!!!! I WANT TO PLAY WITH MY ACCOUNT ON MULTIPLAYER!!!

Crytek, I will not buy your next game from this experience. I know you don't care, because you'll market to the next svcker that has not had to experience this frustration, but I am so frustrated this had not been fixed I can't purchase your next product.

Yep, this svcks... I was forced to use two accounts: one to play the game and one to log into gamesas. Neither one works with the other. My old name/password from previous Crysis games is what I can play with, and had to make another account here so I could post on the forums.

I stopped playing multiplayer because it's just not finished. LE code, ha, how do I redeem that when the account I use to play won't let me log in to "gamesas"? Not to mention your hard earned points not saving... I was even willing to ignore the LE stuff not working and just earn it through gameplay, but what's the point if the upgrade system is flawed to begin with... game breaking bug for me

I do like the multiplayer, and would really like to put some good hours into it but I will not waste my time with it in it's current state.

Ohai. I've the same problem. Bought crysis 2 from steam, i got the limited edition too but cant use it. Can't log into my gamesas account in crysis 2 so i can't play MP (multiplayer). :/ I've tried to change my password but it doesn't work xd

Hi Crysis 2 team - while you work on the issue with logging into our gamesas accounts to play online, are you able to advise whether it is OK for us to create a new, temporary account from in-game?

A number of people say that creating an account with a rubbish email address from within the game allows them to get in. This certainly worked for me in the demo as it wouldnt let me login with my proper account then either.

So long as we're not going to cause issues with our online key and can look forward to using our proper accounts and Limited Edition sometime soon, then this method would at least let us play the game - very frustrating having it for almost 3 weeks without this.

I Have the Same Problem I tried to make a new accound for my Crysis 2 Limited Edition
but it keept saying > The E-Mail is already in USE but I never EVER created a gamesas Account before!
so i clicked at the forgot password botton and i recived a Link to resette an Account i never created wich
is wiered because I can log on to that Account but i have no USERNAME (and I vave no idea where to change it)!

But still i Cant log on in Game!!!!
this system is ridiculous

Yeah. I bought the Limited Edition of Crysis 2 today expecting a few problems with it would be gone by now. Alas I seem to be having the same login errors where it doesn't even recognize my account (not that gamesas even gave me the option of a name, only my e-mail address).

So uh, yeah. I would like to be able to claim my LE content and log in through the game, please. I've NEVER had this issue, let alone any issues with a new PC game since I started buying them in 1997.. I think that says something.

Please try to do your best and get it fixed ASAP. I've already been held up with impatience over mail services taking forever to get me my last new computer component, this isn't helping at all.
