This F****** svck!. This is really bad, i so wanted to play this game, and then i cant. My gamesas.com accounts are freaking, i received 5-6 password reset emails, at the same time. I didnt get them instantly, but 10-20 minutes later.

I tried resetting my gamesas.com account password and I still cannot use it to log in from inside the game. The thing I don’t get is if we are supposed to be using our gamesas.com username/password to log in why is it letting me log in with my gamespy username/password.

I am having the exact same problem!
I try to log in with my gamesas account and it tells me that the username or password are invalid" or something like that. I created a different account (name: --4Strings--) in order to play the PC Demo, and when I logged in with it on the full game it created a second account on gamesas!
So now I have two accounts and I don't know what to do!
I also downloaded the limited edition content with the other account. Does this mean that if this problem is fixed and I can log into the game with this account, I won't be able to re-download the bonus stuff again???

I can't login to Crysis 2 with my gamesas.com account.
How is that even possible? I can't find any option in the menus for loggin' in with the gamesas-account. The only option i get under the "My Crysis" part in the menu is to create a new account.

I had the same problem with the beta; I just couldn't login with my gamesas account...
But when I tried an old gamespy account, it suddenly worked . The only problem being that I didn't use that nickname anymore.
When I logged into Gamespy I saw that I had 2 accounts, and one of them had my new username.
So I then tried using that one to log into Crysis 2, and it worked! The fun thing was that it even copied my stats, but used my new nickname .
(The new nickname is the same as my gamesas username by the way)

So I recently pre-ordered Crysis 2 via Steam and got my LE key . I logged into the game with my Gamespy account only to find out that redeeming my LE goodies I had to use a gamesas account.
After reading this thread, I decided to change my gamesas password. And suddenly I could log in to Crysis 2 with my gamesas account (using my new password)!
I redeemed my LE code, and got a message in-game telling me I unlocked some new things, so all is working for me now!

the fact is that ... insofar you don't mention exactly which username matches to which account (name them !!! even if you name them "A" or "B"), things get pretty confused !!

You log into gamespy through an email and a password. right ? it's one account
then you say you notice 2 different accounts, you probably mean 2 nicknames (considering 1 Unique Nicknames is linked to 1 - and only 1 - account). Where do you see them ?
You logged into Crysis 2 demo using: the new gamespy nickname (= your gamesas username) + your gamespy password (btw what stats are you speaking abourt ?) ?

my experience on the demo. To play i used:
Nickname: I used gamesas username
Password: I used Gamespy password
(i was probably still /already connected on gamespy.com, dunno if it mattered)

note:
my Gamespy account has a different email referent and password, from gamesas ones.
my Gamespy nickname is also my Unique Nickname there. And it is different from my gamesas username

I hope this is fixed soon... pretty annoying

i tried to change my password, but it just dont take it... it says "changes done" but when i logout, and try to login, i have to type in the OLD password... wtf? o0

I have exactly same problem. It says me that incorrect login details. I had the same problem on demo too but I thought it was just a demo bug and probably be fixed. However when I came home today to play Crysis 2 and saw that this bug still existed I got pretty sad to be honest. I hope you will fix this as soon as possible!!

I cant log in because Crysis 2 login screen does not support spaces, so I cant even register my nick/username (I think its the same as this: Mr. John) So please add space support. I really wanna play D:

This is outrageous. I've screwed my gamesas account badly. I registered on this account during the demo which was a mess and never was able to log in. So I made a new email and username just to play for the sake of it. And now I've bought the game, and used this account to log in to see if Crytek have fixed it and NO it still the same issue! I even screwed up by redeeming the codes from my LIMITED EDITION to this ACCOUNT and it ain't working! I tried the new account I made during the demo and it works but I don't have the limited edition features!

This is frustrating, and when I tried to join a game with the new account it asks for my serial codes. I tried the fix Cry Tom linked http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=12502 and YEAH I don't know what EMAIL it GOES to... I am so screwed and this is really frustrating.

This is ridicolous. Many attempts at this, checked my gamespy account, checked my Crysis account, checked my EA account, I even CHECKED my World of Warcraft account for the sake of it. I give up.. Waiting for a parmanent fix, and this will be my last EA associated product I ever going to purchase again.

Cannot log in with either:

My Gamespy ID (which I have had for a very very long time)
My gamesas ID (which worked fine in the beta)

But I can log on here or on Gamespy without issues.

Who do I call for a refund since I've opened and installed the software?

I had the same problem with the login stuff and that already happend in the beta.

But I can now login with my Account so I want to tell you the stuff I did just before it worked with login.

1. Login with your Account on this website and change your password. (Continue when you see Profile updated !)
2. Go again to the Account Settings Page and type your password in the field which says
Your In-Game Password and click Submit. Now there should be again the Message which says Profile updated !

3. Logout from your Account and if you got several tabs with gamesas.com refresh and double check that your really logged out completely.

4. Start the Game and log-in with the new password you made at Step 1

Obviously logged into gamesas.com so its not user error.
Had same issue during demo and couldn't play

Can't even recover my nickname....

There's no "Your In-Game Password" field in "Account Settings" for me.

Same here - I can log into gamesas.com either with email/password or with Nickname/password but not in the game

Just a note, we are still investigating this issue and this is of course very high on our priority list, to ensure that you can actually get in and play the game. As always, any information/progress on the issue, we'll let you know ASAP.
