I can't login to Crysis 2 game with my gamesas.com accoun

I cant log in either, or create a new account. im very disapointed and whats worse, i cant even return the game, I wish I never bought it in the first place as i can only access the single player :(

what also annoy's me is that they give you a boost to lvl 5 and all the other skin mods for LE or SE/CE and i bet once you can log in, that won't work either.

I can confirm that creating a new account from within the game works best.

Seems to be an issue with OLD gamesas accounts, vs those made ingame, hope this helps ;)

ok nice topic. i have myself this problems. but also there is 1 problem with language. ibought game with use of EA store and while Preordering the game there was none option of choosing language. Now i'm stuck with Polish version of Crysis 2 (but trying to change it) while i hate how Language versions in Poland are made (lots of mistakes, wrongly made translations etc. ) and while i asked on EA store they said i had to choose english while buying (WTH?! i had no language options while buying!! ). and now with no MP bugs i ask myself if i will try to get my money back...

Same happen to me. I try to login but I receive the id/pass error. Try to change password but it doesn't work.
I read that changing email of the old account and register a new one will work, but I cant find where to change it. I have only pass change...

Strange. Very strange... Registered third account. Through the game. Works fine in game and on gamesas.com. Wtf with my old acc? Is it on another database? I will continue my "experiments"

Heh, it becomes funny. Registered fourth account. On gamesas.com. Works in game aon on site. But this acc doesn't. Maybe there is trouble with database, looks like all old accounts leaved on old database. I want play with this nickname, good luck Crytek.

I was able to create new nickname for same email and the new nickname seems to be working both gamesas.com and ingame but not the old one.

New account via InGame menu works fine, but actually i didn't want to have multiple accounts here... but in the end it's better than the Homefront farce with installing the half and downloading the other half.

I feel sorry for you! I was lucky because I tried the demo hours before the retail game reached me. There was the same issue, so I was very careful not to enter any codes until this login worked.

What I absolutely do not understand is the silence from crytec on this matter. The only official answer I saw was like 'write email to ign account management'. Yeah, sure that will help a lot.

Probably they will someday fix the issue with the old accounts, but as you want to play now and not in weeks this does not really help you.

If i understood right the promo codes are tied to email accounts so if you create new nickname with same account ingame you should be fine.

Do not vouch this for me tho this is just i have seen people write on forums so dont come blaming me if this isnt the case ;p

Look like they need to delete there entire database and everyone can re- register from scratch!

Do it Crytek! Delete all accounts and start with a clean slate!

So my nickname is the email address I used to sign up.

And the game keeps saying "incorrect login details", or something like that.

VERY frustrating...


BTW: is there a way to change that, I mean, to choose a nickname for myself? I have a feeling that, in my case, this is the problem.

You must create new account ingame. When creating the new account use the same email address you use here.

If I'm guessing right, everyone with an EA Account who activated this game via activate.ea.com or EADM have this problem. They get their account linked with your key - but they don't set up a nickname and instead fill in your eMail. This would be fine, as long as we are talking about BF2 or similar, because there you can login with your eMail - but my guess is, that you need a real Nickname and not an eMail adress.

And yes, unfortunately - as you can see - I'm sitting in the same boat here. I wanted a nickname Q_Q

Ekido, this won't work because the eMail is already in use. Like I said - you get an account automatically if you already have an EA account.

When I try to create new account using email address from this account - it says that its already used for another gamesas account and I should use password recovery etc.
