I can log in on my pc, but I dont get a choice on the ps3.
It only says "Join gamesas.com" nothing about log in. I created a account during the Multiplayer Demo, dont know why it hasnt been moved over to the game

I just deleted my old account that wouldn't work in game and then I tried to remake that same name only use the ingame interface to do it with thinking this might actually work. Well I was wrong all it did was forever prevent me from making that account again because it says it's still in use even though I just deleted the freaken thing. Also this delete account option wasn't available just a day or so ago so they must be updating their site. They don't even know how to do that either apparently so I'm left with an account that I don't really want which is tied to someones email I don't even know because I created a fake one in the demo. This needs to be fixed immediately or else I will file a dispute with the credit card company.

As far as i know tomorrow there will be a patch. I don′t know how they want to fix that problem but I think they will. And, i can understand them, if I was a staff i wouldn′t work on sundays....they also got family..
And so the only thing I can say is that everyone should calm down a bit and wait till tomorrow, then we′ll see what the specialists can do with all those problems.

it's not numbers in the nicknames that screw with the login. it's the simple fact, that crytek has no access to the accounts from gamespy.
and since gamespy and IGN have merged some time back, it's a three-way fustercluck.

I also got this game off steam... the same problem as the demo. Says the account is already in use, says incorrect username, etc.

Apparently online is terrifying, and seeing as I'm a scrub.. take your time in fixing this.

iv had this account since the first crysis and throughout warhead it seems like there just not transfering over to crysis 2 for some reason very fustrating and im not going to buy another crysis 2 just to play online i want this account and i hope they fix this problem soon

Uhhh, from all the hacking posts and what not happening on the forums, and the lack of my initial mp rush I'm kinda giving up on the game before even being able to experience it.

They say they will release a patch, that's cool, it will probably be minor stuff. Fix some flickering, the serial key not having to be entered every time. Fix some bugs here and there and that's about it.

We are having a server problem here and no patch will fix that. This has to do with gamespy and gamesas not ingame bugs or problems. It has nothing to do with the game. If they could have fixed this, they would have done it a long time ago. Don't hold your breath.

I dont know what problems some people have, there is a server problem thats right, but if you do it like they have written it at start of this topic (yeah im reading alot before writing) you can play without that serial key or name problem, just try it.

That there cannot be a patch within one or lets say a big patch in just one week, i think thats normal (tell me one game where they needed one day to patch something like this). Just cool down and wait a while and if not play for example the singeplayer mode till you reached the highest and hardest mode complete.

For me - the game is working and ranked too, if i get problems i read first what the admins write and then start flaming....

Your really taking this way too far. It's like you've never encountered issues with games before. Give them a chance to fix the problem, they've only had four days to work on it

don't know anyone has said this didn't read all posts. I was having same prob, what worked for me was to log into gamesas and change my password then start game again. then it logged straight in.

It almost seems unfixable - because now we have a person1 that "own" username1 on gamesas.com and a person2 that "own" username1 on ingame Crysis 2.

The only way to fix this imho is to copy all userdetails from ingame database and overwrite the gamesas.com database, else all stats and redeemed preorder will be lost since this MUST be tied to the ingame account.

I can log in, on a different name, but I dont want to. I want my LE and EA prepurchase bonus material, which is currently locked in this inaccessible account. And that's what's so infuriating. It's not as if my game was broke or anything. It's something as small as a log in BS that's stopping me from reaching the content that I paid for.

I hate it when people come in this thread and go: "LUL, I DONT SEE WUT UR PROBLEM IS, MINE IS WORKING FINE, UR PROBABLY STUPID, LULZ!"

the ingame crysis 2 login works fine, forum/gamesas.com not so much, i had to make this login just to type this message

can crytek/ea create a email for users affected by this problem to get it fixed faster?

I've gotten zero responses from the support page, EA Chat/phone/e-mail fails to resolve this, no surprises there.
