OMG A FIX. THANK YOU!

This did work for me 100%. I tried every other solution on this topic and THIS worked. I just made a new account trying all of my 5 gamespy ID's on one of my emails, and this ONE worked. And somehow i still got my LE Bundle even tho it was on CDok and not CDoku.

Problem of gamesas.com:

Actually it (and game itself) should accept login and password of your old gamespy account and automatically create rest of account data for you or ask to enter additional data, but due of poor coding from Crytek side, in most cases you will fail to login with your gamespy account and will be forced to create gamesas account.
But in fact whenever you will create gamesas account here at site, or in game - it will create Gamespy account in sub-name space.

This where the trick begins:

When you register at gamesas you need to enter EXACTLY SAME NAME AS YOU HAVE IN YOUR NORMAL GAMESPY ACCOUNT, SAME E-MAIl as you have in Gamespy account AND SAME PASSWORD!
If you will register here with that trick, your new gamesas account will be merged with old Gamespy account with same name, e-mail and password, so you would be able to use your old gamespy id in Crysis 2.

If you was smart enough to register here with same old Gamespy name you may use your account settings in gamesas to change E-mail and password, and all you need to do - set same e-mail and password as in your gamespy account.

In case if somebody other here registered with your gamespy id name , you must claim from Crytek to return this name to you, because by design it should belongs to you and you should login with it here, but due of fault of Crytek, this sub-registry creates exploit in Gamespy, that may allow other user who registered here, to hijack your old gamespy id name and this is legal resposibility of Crytek to not allow this happen.
New users registered here may hijack your old unique gamespy id is they will try lo login to other gamespy services with dublicated name created here, so when you will return back to your gamespy account, it may force you to select new name, since your old name was taken by someone. thats how i lost my old name at Gamespy, due of same bug in other old game.

Im not sure if this is still possible to hijack gamespy name this way, maybe gamespy fixed it, or maybe dublicated name will stay only in Crysis 2 names sub-registry, but anyway, if you had name as gamespy id before its legaly yours and you must claim for it return if someone else taken it here due of mistake of Crytek.

If you lost you bonus content due of this account mess, its you legal right to claim for transfer content licence and other data from account to account, and its duty of Crytek to help and deal with mess they created, if they will refuse to help you with that problem - tell them that you will sue them, if they will resist to help again, sue them for fraud and violation of warranties and other laws. You paid for content and its yours!

I did the exact same thing a few days ago and it worked perfectly.

I would like to know what you are doing about the login issue.

Applied the "fix" and it didn't work.

-Forgot I even had a gamespy account, so tried to create one on gamesas
-Said username & email already existed, so I reset gamesas password
-Created new password
-Couldn't login
-Read this thread and reset gamespy password to gamesas password
-Couldn't login
-Changed both passwords to be the same, again
-Couldn't login.

I also have this issue. Lets hope its fixed soon, i dont like being ripped off.

For those who's still having trouble, this is what worked for me.

-Went into the game. Created a Different Account.
-Quit the game, Went into http://www.mycrisis.com to log onto the newly created account.
-When I was able to successfully log on, I ran Crysis 2 again and logged onto the newly created account.

If you are still trying to get your Account that doesn't work. Let it go, and if you want your LE items just request for another one. I am guilty of bad mouthing crytek, but soon realize why invest on something to stress over with. A game is meant to help us relieve stress from day to day lives, not add onto it. This stepped worked for me, and I believe it's due to the Crytek's hard work of mending their mistakes. Even though I'm not quite good at MP yet, I believe this to be a good game. With that said, this is my sincere apology to Crytek and the Forum admins for all the stress that us fans have put upon you.

EA won't reimburse Limited Edition contents. So creating a new account is not an option for me.

the **** is this? I can't even play a demo without logging in to some **** that won't accept my email address. Deleted demo, not buying, get Bulletstorm instead.

92 pages and no working fixes... yep EA support all right.

I got a EA on the phone they will give you another Limited edition key, BUT the problem is that Crytec sent them limited edition FULL VERSION keys, not the limited edition content keys so atm you cant get them.

After a week- all i can say is- Maximum Failure.

Funny thing, told this already during the beta and there was no official comment regarding this problem. And no you are suprised that there is such a problem and that maybe some others could have the same problem as well?

Had to make a new account from ingame... this works but it is so sad that you are not able to solve and manage this issue SINCE THE BETA DEMO!

I've heard it was allowing you to access the leaderboards and other crap. And it refreshes like that so that if you change/delete your account, you can redo it with your different account.

I registered my LE content on gamesas while the game installed, so I cannot make another account with a different email...
My gamespy account uses the same email as my gamesas account.
I've tried logging in with both accounts, but neither one works.
I've also tried changing passwords but it made no difference.

C'Mon Crytek, sort it out!

On the PC, same issue as all these folk's. Honestly, given how much time you guys had with the demo to get this fixed and to actually part with cold hard cash to play this game, only to get the SAME issue in the full game is disappointing. How far have you fallen into EA's money grubbing game rush out's Crytek?

Cant log in with my account ingame. Made another account, same error. Network connectivity error. Been searching these posts for 5 days now and i see Crytek does not reply or keep us updated. Good to know what you think of your clients. We bought the game and this is how you treat us?

Still not working, upgraded to the first patch, v 1.1 or something. It now says my log-in information is incorrect. Pretty annoying, good thing I haven't finished SP yet.

Unbelievable, this is the same sh*t from the demo. It just hangs indefinitely "Logging In".

Got fed up with the issue and abandoned my broken account.
Was able to create new account ingame and was able to redeem my LE code succesfuly.
Login on website and ingame works too.

The fact that YOU need to abandon your account to get a game to work were you paid for and already was a headsup with a problem during DEMO, show the incompetent from Crytek - EA.

I removed Crysis 2 from shelves, im not going down with them and there broken game. Resellers should think if the want this trouble for a game that hasnt work from day 1.
